The spring loaded impact tool is a safety device designed for use with impact tools such as chisels, pry levers, hammers, shovels, scrapers, or tampers. Specifically, the spring loaded impact tool is an enhanced shaft that replaces the traditional shaft that is used as the handle in impact tools. The enhanced shaft further comprises a spring that provides the user greater control over the impact tool compared to the traditional shaft. The spring loaded impact tool comprises an enhanced shaft. The enhanced shaft further comprises an outer shaft, an inner shaft, a compression spring, and a threaded connection.

An improved valve assembly having a valve member encased within a valve housing including a bonnet which is removably mounted on a lower or main valve body by one or more clamp members adapted for quick and easy disassembly without tools to facilitate access to the valve housing interior for service or maintenance. In a preferred form, the valve member is carried by a diaphragm for movement between closed and open positions in response to a solenoid actuator, for regulating the pressure within a control chamber acting upon the diaphragm. The clamp member or members are mounted on the housing bonnet for releasible clamp fit engagement with the main valve body. A bleed screw is mounted on the bonnet for selectively bleeding fluid such as air from the control chamber and normally engages and locks the clamp member or members in a position for retaining the bonnet and main valve body in assembled relation. The bleed screw can be retracted or removed from the bonnet to permit clamp member disengagement or disassembly therefrom and corresponding separation of the bonnet from the main valve body.

A measuring dispensing cap for a container comprising a peripheral sidewall and a pivotable flip top supported on the peripheral sidewall for rocking movement about a hinge axis; the hinge axis separating a push panel portion of the flip top from a dispensing panel portion of the flip top; and wherein a measuring chamber is formed an area enclosed the peripheral sidewall underlying the dispensing panel portion; wherein the measuring chamber is defined by a portion of the peripheral sidewall, the dispensing panel portion, and by an angled weir panel extending from the peripheral sidewall downwardly and inwardly, terminating at a weir edge in substantial vertical alignment with the hinge axis, thereby creating a weir opening into the chamber; and wherein the flip top is formed with a depending flange which engages the weir panel edge when the flip top is opened to thereby close the weir opening.

A drinking cup having a body portion and a removably attached cover including an offset drinking spout and an offset vent aperture. The drinking spout and the vent aperture are each surrounded by wall members which depend generally away from an interior surface of the cover. An air inlet flow control valve is coupled to the wall member surrounding the vent aperture while a liquid outlet flow control valve is coupled to the wall member surrounding the spout. Each flow control valve includes a domed elastomeric member containing a slit allowing for passage of a selected fluid therethrough. The domed portions are each surrounded by a generally circular isolating channel, and outside of each isolating channel is a perimetral portion for connecting the flow control valve to the depending wall portion of the cover. Fluids passing through the slits achieve substantially only a one-way passage as the domed curvature substantially prevents any backflow. Vacuum must be applied on the convex side of the domed portion for sufficient elastomeric displacement to allow a fluid to pass through the slit. In the absence of such a vacuum, the sides of the slit are maintained in contiguous contact thereby preventing any transfer of liquid or air across the respective flow control valve. Coupling means are provided for coupling the flow control valves together, and may include handle portions integrally attached to the perimetral portion and including joining means for joining the handle portions together.

A measuring dispensing closure for a container includes a hollow body having an opening therein, and a pivotable flip top. The flip top is mounted on the body for pivotal motion about a horizontal hinge axis between closed and open positions. The hollow body has an internal, part spherical weir panel located below the opening, with an edge extending parallel with the hinge axis thus establishing a weir opening between the weir edge and a peripheral portion of the opening, and defining, in cooperation with an underside portion of the flip top and a remaining peripheral portion of the opening, a measuring chamber within the closure. The flip top is also formed with a shut-off blade adapted to engage the weir edge when the flip top is in the open position.

Dispensing cap

A measuring/dispensing cap adapted for attachment to an open, upper end of a container, the cap including a lid and a peripheral skirt extending downwardly from the lid, the lid pivotally secured to the skirt; a sifter panel integral with the skirt and separating the skirt into upper and lower sections, the upper section including a measuring chamber and the lower section including a screw thread for attaching the cap to the open upper end of the container. The sifter panel is formed to provide a flow opening on one side of a horizontal centerline extending across the cap, the flow opening defined in part by a first edge extending parallel to and spaced from the horizontal centerline. A rotatable weir dam panel overlies the sifter panel, the weir dam panel having a second edge which may be aligned with the first edge to enable substantially free flow of container contents through the flow opening. The lid is pivotally secured to an upper edge of the peripheral skirt by an integral hinge having a center tab and a pair of hoops laterally spaced from opposite sides of the center tab.

A measuring canister is disclosed for storing any of a variety of particulate solid particulate materials, and for dispensing in a controlled manner a portion of the stored particulate material selected by the user to be any portion up to maximum volume, while preventing spillage from or dispensing of the remaining particulate material. The interior of a container having an open top is divided into a storage compartment and a measuring dispensing compartment by a partition having a notch. A generally planar flap is hinged to a cover having a dispensing orifice proximate to the measuring compartment, with the cover removably attached to the container. The flap is capable of moving between a first position where the dispensing orifice is closed and particulate material present in the storage compartment may pass from the storage compartment into the measuring compartment as the present invention is tilted, and a second position where the dispensing orifice is open and the notch is closed, so that particulate material may be dispensed from the measuring compartment through the dispensing orifice.
