A method, system and apparatus for automatically generating distribution lists are provided. In response to receiving, using a communication interface of a device comprising a processor and the communication interface, a message comprising a given identifier, a distribution list is automatically generated at the processor, the distribution list comprising at least one network address associated with the message.

A method for implementing software breakpoints in a software program to be executed by a interpreter, comprising the steps of executing a look-up, in a main loop of the interpreter, the look-up function searching a list of breakpoint addresses to determine whether a breakpoint instruction is to be executed at the address referenced by the interpreter's current instruction pointer instead of the program instruction, and maintaining, in memory, the list of breakpoints addresses separately from the program code, such that the breakpoint list can be altered separately from the program code.

In some embodiments of the present invention, files are generated from java files or class files or jar files. The generated files are directly linkable and interpretable by a Java Virtual Machine. The generated files may be stored in a directly addressable memory of a device. References between class files may appear in the generated files as hard offsets or symbolic references. The generated files may be grouped so that cross-references between generated files in the same group appear as hard offsets.
