User information is provided to web applications by embedding a widget in a web page served to a user's client from a web application server. The widget is a software component that is configured to retrieve user information from a user information web server repository in response to a request by a web application for user information. The widget is also configured to request user permission to retrieve user information from the repository and to request user verification of retrieved information prior to providing the retrieved information to the requesting web application. The user information widget is configured to authenticate a user prior to retrieving user information from the repository. The user information widget authenticates a user by requesting credentials from the user and verifying that the received credentials are valid for the user.

User information widgets and methods for updating and retrieving user information

A method of providing a network service includes accepting an incoming transmission control protocol/internet protocol (TCP/IP) connection from a user device at a point of presence (POP) proxy server. The TCP/IP connection corresponds to a particular application that is not stored at the POP proxy server. The method also includes relaying the TCP/IP connection from the POP proxy server to a remote application server that stores the particular application via an accelerated network link. Further, the method includes streaming data between the user device and the remote application server after relaying the TCP/IP connection to the remote application server.

System and method to provide a network service

A system for routing business-to-business ('B2B') messages includes a cyclical neural network. The cyclical neural network contains neurons for determining a needed destination of a message based on content type of the message, for example. Neurons are monitored to establish a 'state of understanding' of the network during processing, and tags may be applied to messages upon a determination of the needed destination.
