The invention relates to a fuel cell system () having at least one fuel cell stack (), an air path (), wherein air from the surroundings reach the fuel cell stack () via the air path (), an exhaust gas path (), a fuel line (), wherein fuel is transported to the fuel cell stack () via the fuel line (). According to the invention, the air path () is connected to a cooling line () via a branch (), wherein the cooling line () is connected to a PDU unit ().

Fuel cell system

The invention relates to a waste heat recovery system () for an internal combustion engine (), having a working fluid circuit () with a condenser () that is also connected to a working fluid cooling circuit (), and wherein the working fluid cooling circuit () has a cooler (). The invention provides a waste heat recovery system () having a working fluid cooling circuit () which is improved in comparison to one design of a working fluid cooling circuit (). This is achieved by the working fluid cooling circuit () having a cooler bypass (). This configuration makes it generally possible for part of the coolant volume flow to be routed past the cooler (). This is advantageous in particular at low temperatures since otherwise very low pressures arise in the working fluid cooling circuit ().

Waste heat recovery system

The invention relates to a waste-heat utilization assembly () of an internal combustion engine (), comprising a working circuit () that conducts a working fluid. The working circuit () is equipped with a feed pump (), an evaporator (), an expansion machine () and a condenser () in the direction of flow of the working fluid. Additionally, the evaporator () is also arranged in an exhaust tract () of the internal combustion engine (). The exhaust tract () is equipped with an exhaust bypass channel () parallel to the evaporator (), and the exhaust tract () is equipped with an exhaust bypass valve (), by means of which the distribution of the mass flow rate of the exhaust of the internal combustion engine () to the evaporator () and to the exhaust bypass channel () can be controlled. The waste-heat utilization assembly () further comprises a cooling device () which conducts a coolant, and the condenser () is arranged in the cooling device (). Furthermore, at least one temperature sensor () is arranged in the cooling device ().

A method for operating a line circuit () for waste heat utilization of an internal combustion engine (), and a control unit (). A feed pump (), at least one heat exchanger (), an expansion machine (), a condenser () and a control unit () are situated in the line circuit (). The control unit () calculates a time period which is required until individual components or all the components of the line circuit () have reached a predefined temperature, in order to start up the line circuit () at least partially.

Method and control unit for operating a line circuit for waste heat utilization of an internal combustion engine

The invention relates to a method for operating a steam cycle process for using the heat of an internal combustion engine (), comprising a conduction circuit () in which a working medium circulates. Said conduction circuit () comprises at least one pump (), at least one heat exchanger (), an expansion machine (), a feedwater tank () for storing the liquid working medium, and a condenser (). Components of the conduction circuit () are frost-proofed by partially evacuating the liquid working medium. After the end of the circulation of the working medium, at least one of the pumps () continues to operate in order to evacuate the working medium at least from the pump () which continues to operate.

Method for operating a steam cycle process

The invention relates to a device and a method for the recovery of waste heat from an internal combustion engine (), according to which a feed pump (), a heat exchanger (), an expansion engine () and a capacitor () are arranged in a circuit () containing a circulating working medium. A bypass connection () is mounted in parallel to the expansion engine (), in the circuit (), the expansion engine () being coupled to the circuit (), or decoupled therefrom, according to an operating situation of the internal combustion engine ().
