Disclosed herein is a mobile network concealment system or assembly which provides for aesthetic modification without impairing, diminishing, or otherwise affecting radio frequency (RF) transmission/reception. Said mobile network concealment system or assembly improves accessibility to encased mobile network devices well after installation in a manner such that (i) materials can be tailored, colored, molded, or otherwise formed or manipulated to be aesthetically pleasing, and (ii) a technician has the ability to remove, alter, or otherwise modify or access the devices in a way that allows the technician to service or troubleshoot the mobile network devices in situ (i.e., without removing the concealment system).

Apparatus, method, and system for RF-transmissive access panels for elevated and shrouded mobile network components

Disclosed herein are means and methods by which unrelated or outside entities may add value to strategic partnerships with mobile network service providers&#x2014;beyond providing preexisting elevating structures. In the state of the art, mobile network service providers must rely upon multiple technicians using multiple tools to pinpoint where a tower or pole exists, and must perform precise horizontal and vertical aiming of each mobile network device when elevated and mounted at a particular position on said tower or pole. Said means and methods are directed to reducing the time and cost associated with this onsite commissioning of mobile network devices by factory wiring and factory aiming at least some of these devices in a commensurate fashion to factory wiring and factory aiming of disparate devices such as lighting fixtures.

Disclosed herein are apparatus, methods, and systems for grounding outdoor light poles, as well as other structures, which may be exposed to lightning or other adverse electrical effects and may require a low impedance path to ground. Inventive aspects include a combination of apparatus integral to the pole or other structure and installation considerations whereby the ease of installation, reduction of onsite installation error, and reduction of impedance may be tailored to each installation. An apparatus can include a pre-installed earth grounding electrode at the lower end of the pole or structure to be inserted into the earth. A method can include installing an earth grounding electrode to/on/in a lower end of a pole or structure prior to insertion into the earth.

An apparatus, method, and system for switch control of power to light sources, particularly high power consumption light sources that may experience lumen depreciation, such that the power level to a light source may be increased or decreased as desired. Methods of switching utilizing robust mechanical components such as solenoids, coupled with accurate and rapid electronic control components such as microprocessors, may be combined with a combinational approach to capacitance changes to comprise a flexible method of power control to a light source or plurality of light sources. Power to a light source may be adjusted such that the amount of energy consumed and the quantity of light output may be adjusted, compensation may be made for lumen depreciation and other losses that occur during operational life of the light source, to maintain constant or near-constant light output, or otherwise.

A capacitor assembly comprises a capacitor housing wherein a relatively larger main capacitor and at least one relatively smaller secondary capacitor can be enclosed and include an efficient and simple combination of electrical connections from the multiple capacitors to an external electrical connection interface. Another aspect includes a capacitor housing wherein volumetric efficiency is enhanced by the arrangement of the multi-capacitors within a given volume of a cavity of the housing. For a given size main capacitor and one or more secondary capacitors, the total volume of space occupied by those capacitors and the housing is minimized to take up minimum room in an electrical box.

Multi-capacitor assembly

An apparatus and method for providing a temporary spread footing for supporting a variety of different vertically extending structures. The apparatus includes a frame with a top and bottom. The frame can have a substantial space or void in between the top and bottom into which weights or devices can be placed. A connection on top of the base removably connects to the structure to be supported. Outriggers could also be used to substantially increase the overturning moment resistance of the base. The outriggers can be removable or retractable so that for transportation, the base has minimum dimensions. The method includes pre-determining the needed weight and overturning moment resistance for a particular application and transporting the base to the site and thereafter adding weight and adjusting outriggers to match the pre-determined needed overturning moment resistance.
