A coupling that can be easily and repeatedly rotationally adjusted after assembly and/or installation. The coupling can comprise a male part insertable into a female part to a first position whereat the male part is rotationally locked with respect to the female part. Upon further insertion of the male part into the female part to a second position, the male part is rotationally unlocked from the female part and the male part then can be rotated relative to the female part. Once rotational adjustment is complete, the male part can be returned to the locked position to rotationally lock the coupling.

Lockable and positionable swivel fitting

A quick-connect coupling having a rotatable release member that is movable between a locked position whereat the plug-to-connect coupling is locked in a coupled state, and a release position whereat the quick-connect coupling can be decoupled. The coupling can be operated with one hand as the release member can remain in an unlocked position (e.g., the release position) when moved to such position and released.

A permanently attachable hose coupling for a pressurized conduit end having a generally tubular nipple and a generally cylindrical shell permanently attached to the nipple and generally surrounding the conduit end. The nipple has a longitudinal axis, first and second ends, a series of circumferential grooves located between the first and the second ends, a longitudinal through bore, and an insert portion adjacent the plurality of grooves for insertion in the conduit. Each of the series of circumferential grooves fixedly receive at least one of an inside surface, an end surface and an outside surface of the generally cylindrical shell and each of the grooves has a generally flat base portion parallel to the longitudinal axis, a first substantially vertically oriented sidewall adjacent the generally flat base portion and a second substantially vertically oriented sidewall.

Universal fitting nipple

A coupling, comprised of a tube with an attached tubular shell, for attachment with external components. The tube has a first end, second end and a longitudinal bore extending therethrough. The tube further includes an intermediate portion between the first and second ends having spaced radially outwardly extending annular beads. The tubular shell has a first portion axially confined between the annular beads and has an inner surface with a first axial end and a second axial end, wherein one of the first and the second inner axial ends has a non-rounded shape. The shell has a second portion extending axially from the first portion to a free end and has an inner surface spaced radially and coaxially outwardly of the exterior of the tube second end to define an annular recess therebetween and is adapted to be inwardly deformed toward the tube second end.
