Aspects of the present disclosure may be directed to a wrap-around antenna capable of being wrapped around a support structure to provide antenna patterns for a communication system. Such an assembly may be aesthetically pleasing and, because the antenna assembly allows for radiation away from the support structure, scattering effects due to interference from the support structure may be eliminated.

Wrap around antenna

A clip for securing a radiating arm to a printed circuit boards of a radio frequency antenna element of a base station antenna. The radiating arm may be configured to receive signals or radiate signals from a feed network associated with the at least one RF antenna member. The radiating arm can be secured to the printed circuit board without the use of solder or adhesives.

Radio antenna element arm retaining clip

An antenna comprising PCB elements mechanically secured by a clip is provided. The antenna has a feedboard printed circuit board having a feed network, at least one radiating element, and the clip. The radiating element includes first and second printed circuit boards, each having a base disposed on a surface of the feedboard printed circuit board. In one example, the printed circuit boards each further include a dipole disposed above the feedboard. In another example, the PCBs are supports and a cross-polarized radiating may be mounted on top. The first and second PCBs may include slots so that the boards may be assembled together. The PCBs also include an extension extending through a first slot on the feedboard PCB, and indentations disposed on the first extension. The clip may have retainers that engage the indentations of the extensions.

Dipole strength clip

An electrical cord reel includes a metal housing of rectangular shape which is adapted to be mounted set in a wall or on the surface of the wall. The electric cord is mounted on a retractable reel mounted within the housing and may be connected to a source of electricity. An outlet receptacle is mounted to the cord for supplying power to remote locations in the room or work area as the cord is unwound from the reel. A series of guide rollers permit the cord to be paid out in a direction generally perpendicular to the wall, but over a large space for flexible application. The receptacle may be reeled in for storage and used as a wall outlet in the storage position. The receptacle is secured in a recess in the front wall of the housing; and the receptacle may be moved from the storage position to a release position where it is readily removed from the housing for remote use.
