A locking clip for locking an elongate piece to a structure has a first portion forming an aperture in a first plane for receiving a rod, tube or other elongate workpiece. The first portion has a first lock portion and an attachment member. The locking clip also has a second portion having an inside surface and a free end. The second portion is connected to the first portion via a hinge for movement (i.e., movement of the second portion of the locking clip relative to the first portion) in a second plane from a closed position to an open position. The second portion also has a second lock portion and a positioning pin extending inwardly from the inside surface. The second portion is lockable in the closed position by engagement of the first and second lock portions with each other.

A load floor seat assembly for an adjustable seat is disclosed movable from a normal position to a load floor position. A seat base is adapted to be attached to a motor vehicle floor, at least one seat back arm is pivotably mounted to the seat base about a seat back pivot, and a seat back is pivotably attached to the seat back arm about a load floor pivot. A load floor assembly is attached to the seat back so that in the normal position the seat back is generally perpendicular to the seat base, and in the load floor position the seat back is generally parallel with the seat base and rotated about the load floor pivot, so that the load floor assembly covers the seat back and the seat base.

Load floor seat assembly

A vehicle seat assembly includes a seat back and a seat bottom and is attached to a vehicle support structure by a mounting assembly. The mounting assembly includes a first track and a second track supported for movement relative to the first track; the seat bottom being supported on the second track for axial movement with the second track. This allows the seat assembly to be adjusted forwardly or rearwardly by a seat occupant. The seat back can also be moved relative to the second track between an upright position and a recliner position. The seat assembly receives a seat load resulting from the seat occupant sitting in the seat with the seat back in the reclined position and/or from a forward movement of the seat occupant during a deceleration of the vehicle when the seat occupant is belted into the seat. First and second support members or mounting brackets are attached to the second track. A structural support beam is supported on the second track by the first and second mounting brackets. The beam partially distributes the seat load between the first and second support members.
