Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an apparatus and method for evacuation. An exemplary apparatus includes a trocar comprising an inlet at a distal end and an exit port at a proximal end, the inlet and the exit port are fluidly connected by a tubular hollow body circumscribing a cavity extending through a longitudinal axis of the trocar, the trocar includes a filter maintained within the cavity operable to filter at least one of fluid and particulates from a flow passing through the cavity. The apparatus further includes a vacuum source fluidly connected to the exit port, the vacuum source operable to pull at least one of fluid and particulates through the inlet, the cavity and the exit port.

A vacuum tube is slidably engaged by the body and has an inlet generally facing the front end and adjacent the electrode. A vacuum outlet port is arranged near the rear end of the body, and the outlet port, internal cavity, and vacuum inlet are in fluid communication with each other.

An exemplary apparatus includes an evacuation tube having a filter, a long axis and a hollow conduit extending through the long axis, the hollow conduit fluidly connecting a tube inlet and a tube outlet, the filter located within the hollow conduit operable to remove particles from a flow passing through the hollow conduit from the tube inlet to the tube outlet.

An exemplary apparatus includes trocar comprising a tubular hollow body circumscribing a cavity extending through a longitudinal axis of the trocar with a gasket at a first end and an exit port at a second end, the tubular hollow body comprising a first wall circumscribing the cavity and a concentrically spaced apart second wall. The apparatus further includes a first plate operable to maintain an electric charged disposed within the cavity on the first wall, and a second plate operable to maintain an electric charge disposed between the first wall and the spaced apart second wall.
