Disclosed herein are nanoparticles suitable for use in vaccines. The nanoparticles present antigens from pathogens surrounded to and associated with a detergent core resulting in enhanced stability and good immunogenicity. Dosages, formulations, and methods for preparing the vaccines and nanoparticles are also disclosed.

Vaccine compositions having improved stability and immunogenicity

The systems and methods provide for novel a triggering mode that allows the patient to trigger or initiate the delivery of a breath during ventilation on a ventilator. Further, the systems and methods provide for triggering ventilation utilizing a statistical trigger mode. Additionally, the systems and methods provide for analyzing and/or displaying information related to a potential change in a triggering threshold for a currently utilized breath type.

Ventilation triggering

The present invention relates to oxygen sensors for medical ventilators. A medical ventilator includes a patient circuit delivering inspiratory airflow to a patient and returning expiratory airflow from the patient back to the ventilator. A manifold includes an air flow path into the patient circuit, and a port with an opening for an oxygen sensor. When mated to the port, the oxygen sensor samples the air in the air flow path and detects the amount of oxygen in the air. When the oxygen sensor is inserted into the port, a valve is biased open, to allow airflow through the opening into the oxygen sensor during ventilation. When the oxygen sensor is removed from the port, the valve biases into a closed position covering the opening, to prevent leaks. The ventilator can then continue to operate without the oxygen sensor in place.

A sun visor extender and CD holder includes a frame and a pair of longitudinal sides. A plurality of notches is formed along a top surface of the sides. Oppositely disposed ends are formed with the sides and oriented orthogonal thereto. Open top and bottom faces define a central region between the sides and the ends. Straps traverse across a width of the frame and are anchored thereto and span subjacent to the top and bottom faces. A storage rack is attached to the frame and has shoulders bulging outwardly from a bottom surface thereof. The rack is oppositely faced from the straps and extends along an entire surface area of the top surface of the frame. A sun-blocking plate has a body interfitted between the sides and the ends and is supported by the straps.
