The invention relates to an engine control valve (), comprising a flap () rotatably mounted in a valve body () around an axis () separating said flap into a first part (A) and a second part (B), said flap () being able to cooperate with sealing means carried by the valve body () in a closed position to stop the flow of a fluid through said flap for which the first part (A) of the flap () sealingly cooperates with first sealing means (A) and the second part (B) of the flap () sealingly cooperates with second sealing means (B). According to the invention, the first sealing means (A) and the second sealing means (B) are mounted securely so as to slide along the valve body ().

Engine control valve in a motor vehicle

The invention concerns a discharge valve () intended to be fitted in a discharge duct of an apparatus designed to be driven by a fluid, in particular a turbocharger driven by the exhaust gases from an engine. The discharge valve () comprises a cavity () having a first (), a second () and a third aperture (), each intended to be connected to a respective duct, the discharge valve () also comprising first () and second () means for closing the first () and second () apertures, respectively, in order to control communication between the ducts.

The invention relates to a fluid valve comprising a movable flap () provided with a first wing () and a second wing (), said valve also including a gasket () having an opening () for the passage of the fluid. Fluid circulation valve with improved seal

A fluid circulation valve has a body delimiting an internal duct and a flap mounted pivotally on a spindle separating the flap into a first part and a second part. The flap is able to pivot between an open position allowing the fluid to pass into the duct, and a closed position which prevents the passage and for which the second part of the flap comes to rest against a seal which extends facing this second part, and which further seals the body of the valve. The seal has pressure-lowering means downstream of the second part of the flap so as to increase the force for clamping the second part against the seal.

The invention relates to a fluid valve, in particular for the exhaust gas from a motor vehicle engine, comprising a body () defining a main duct () and an auxiliary duct () for the flow of fluid, which auxiliary duct opens into the main duct (). The invention relates to a fluid valve, in particular for the exhaust gas from a motor vehicle, comprising: a body () defining at least one duct (), and a movable flap that can rotate about a shaft between a closed position preventing the fluid from flowing through the duct () and an open position allowing the fluid to flow through the duct (). The invention relates to a fluid valve comprising: a body () defining a fluid flow duct (), and a flap () that can move between a closed position preventing the fluid from flowing through the duct and an open position allowing the fluid to flow through the duct. According to the invention, the valve also comprises a joint () having at least one opening for the passage of the fluid, and the aforementioned flap can close the opening(s) () in the joint when in the closed position.

The invention relates to a method for controlling an exhaust gas recirculation circuit for an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle. The engine is linked to an air intake circuit and to a gas exhaust circuit linked to the air intake circuit by the recirculation circuit. A first valve controls the flow of air upstream from the recirculation circuit, and a second valve controls the flow of exhaust gases that are recirculated within the recirculation circuit. The method comprises the following steps: a) the first valve is closed, and the second valve is gradually opened; b) if the second valve is opened at an angle greater than a value between 25&#xb0; and 35&#xb0;, the first valve is gradually opened concomitantly to the opening of the second valve. As a result of the invention, the EGR rate is easily controllable.

The invention relates to a method for controlling an exhaust gas recirculation circuit () for an internal combustion engine (M) of a motor vehicle. The engine (M) is linked to an air intake circuit () and to a gas exhaust circuit () linked to the air intake circuit () by the recirculation circuit (). A first valve () controls the flow of air upstream from the recirculation circuit (), and gases that are recirculated within the a second valve () controls the flow of exhaust recirculation circuit (). In the method of the invention, the recirculation of the exhaust gases is in particular controlled by means of measuring a pressure difference across the terminals of the second valve (). The method comprises the following steps: a) the first and second valves () are closed, the first valve () being arranged so as to allow, in a closed position, the passage of an air leak current; b) the first and second valves () are concomitantly opened so as to provide a sufficient pressure difference across the terminals of the second valve () so as to enable the measurement of the pressure difference in the terminals thereof. Due to the invention, the pressure difference across the terminals of the second valve () remains sufficiently high so as to allow the efficient measurement of said pressure difference.
