Disclosed is object a method for operating a retraction device of an automatic bundler that is designed to be used in a facility for processing products that are delivered in the form of bundles that each group multiple products held together with a retractable film; with the retraction device being equipped with a retraction furnace including at least one heating unit that is designed to heat the air of the furnace and at least one air circulation unit that is designed to distribute the hot air in the furnace; with the operating method including a production mode during which the bundler is adjusted to be able to produce output and a superficial standby mode that helps save energy. The superficial standby mode includes the reduction in speed of at least one air circulation unit, compared to production mode, to a non-zero value. Also disclosed is a corresponding device.

Operation of a retraction device of an automatic bundler

The invention relates to a method for managing a main module () of a production line, with said main module () being equipped with thermal means that operate in production at a setpoint temperature (), method in which during production, when there is a break in production continuity at said main module (), the temperature of said thermal means is lowered, and then their temperature is reset until said setpoint temperature () is reached. Advantageously, at least data from a past event comprising at least one temperature rise time of said thermal means from a first temperature to a second temperature is recorded, and based on said data, the temperature of said thermal means is adapted automatically to reach said setpoint temperature (), at the latest when the production continuity resumes at said main module (). The object of the invention is also a corresponding management device.

Method and device for managing the temperature of a module of a production line

A packaging device for packaging products in batches, during which the products travel along a conveying direction in order to be packaged and related method. The batches include at least two products, arranged transversely to the conveying direction. The device includes a feeder for receiving products travelling in single file through an upstream pick-up area and conveying same to a set-down area for later packaging. The feeder includes: in the pick-up area, a transfer unit for transferring products arriving in single file to the unit; and at least one position-controlled movable collector for receiving and then moving at least one product in a controlled manner from the transfer unit to the set-down area. The device also includes a conveyor in the set-down area, on which the collector deposits the product collected from the pick-up area.

Controlled feed for batch packaging

Disclosed is a feedstock device () to deliver film () to a bundle-wrapping machine and including, on the one hand, at least one reel () to receive a roll () of the film () to be delivered, and, on the other hand, a joining unit () to attach the next film () to the film () that is currently being fed. This device includes a support () on which the at least one reel () is mounted, with the support () being mobile in relation to the joining unit () to bring the delivered film () to the latter. The invention also has as its object a machine and a corresponding method.

Bundle-wrapping feedstock

Disclosed is a device for packaging products, having a packaging module in which the products are packaged in batches, notably by shrink-wrapping or case packing, and also a belt extending in a conveying direction in order to supply the module with batches of products; the device further includes a supply unit which delivers the products on the belt from a station upstream of the packaging device, the supply unit being based on a linear motor principle and extending at least partially through at least one lateral zone belonging to the packaging device, next to the belt. Also disclosed is a corresponding process.
