A variable wobbler for a hydraulic unit is disclosed, which includes body defining a central vertical axis, a horizontal longitudinal axis and a horizontal transverse axis, and including an exterior surface having a segmented outer peripheral edge and a circular inner peripheral edge extending around the central vertical axis, wherein a datum point is located on a first lateral segment of the outer peripheral edge of the exterior surface, and wherein a 45 degree relief angle is formed between the outer peripheral edge of the first lateral segment and a datum line that extends through the datum point in a direction that is perpendicular to the horizontal longitudinal axis.

A generator stator includes a housing arranged along a rotation axis, a sleeve seated in the housing and extending about the rotation axis, and a shim. The shim is arranged between the sleeve and the housing and fixes the sleeve radially relative to the housing to reduce diameter of a housing bore defined by the housing. A method for replacing a portion of a first outer bearing assembly for a generator with a second outer bearing assembly. The first outer bearing assembly includes a first liner and a first outer bearing race. The method includes removing the first outer bearing race and the first liner and inserting a second liner. The second liner is matched to a given diameter such that the second outer bearing assembly fits within the generator. A position ring of the second outer bearing assembly is inserted against the machined second liner and a generator housing. A second bearing race of said second outer bearing assembly is inserted against the position ring. The second bearing race of the second outer bearing assembly is connected against the position ring and against a generator housing.

A rectifier includes a diode with an anode face and an opposed cathode face that are both angled in relation to a rotation axis of the diode. A first diode plate overlays the diode anode face. A second diode plate overlays the opposed diode cathode face. The first and second diode plates are nested with one another such that portions of the diode plates axially overlap one another along a length of the diode rotation axis.

The present disclosure relates to generators and their components. Specifically, a grounded radial diode pack is disclosed herein. A design to accommodate safe dissipation static charge build-up is disclosed. Safe dissipation of accumulated charge involves the provision of a suitable electrical path that will allow charges to flow to ground.

An outer bearing race for use in a generator housing includes a body having a radially inner surface for contacting bearings. The radially inner surface has a right side and a left side with a chamfer attaching to the right side of the radially inner surface for leading the bearings into contact with the radially inner surface. A right surface extends radially outwardly from the chamfer and a left surface extends radially outwardly from the left side. A ledge extends axially from the left surface and parallel and in register with the radially inner surface. A first angled surface extends radially outwardly from the right side surface and axially towards the left surface and a second angled surface extends radially outwardly from the ledge and axially towards the right side surface. A first extension extends radially outwardly from and attaches to the first angled surface and the second angled surface.

A carrier shaft set includes an input carrier shaft portion and a carrier shaft portion. The input carrier shaft portion has an input carrier shaft portion axis defined between a planetary gear set end and an input shaft end having an outer surface. The input carrier shaft portion includes a wedge-shaped member having an outer edge. A ratio of a length defined between the input carrier shaft portion axis and the outer edge to the outer surface is between 1.23 and 1.30. The carrier shaft portion has a carrier shaft portion axis defined between a planetary gear set end and a shaft end. The carrier shaft portion includes a shaft portion having an outer surface and a wedge-shaped member having an outer edge. A ratio of a length defined between the carrier shaft portion axis and the outer edge to the shaft portion outer surface is between 1.23 and 1.30.

The present disclosure relates to generators and their components. Specifically, a grounded diode pack is disclosed herein. A design to accommodate non-damaging dissipation static charge build-up is disclosed. Non-damaging dissipation of accumulated charge involves the provision of a suitable electrical path that will allow charges to flow to ground.

A ball bearing has an outer race and an inner race A plurality of ball members are supported radially between the inner and outer races. A pair of bearing cage halves are placed at axial ends of the balls. The bearing cage halves are formed of a first relatively hard material, and have a plating of a softer material on some surfaces The bearing cage halves have pockets facing the balls and with the soft plating The bearing cage halves are riveted together along a contact surface, not including the soft plating. The rivets extend through an aperture in each of the bearing cage halves, not provided with the soft plating. The rivets have heads extending into a ditch, not provided with the soft plating. A rotor sub-assembly, a generator, and a method of maintaining a generator are also disclosed.

Ball bearing particularly for use in high speed generator

A bearing support plate for use in a generator has a radially enlarged flange with a first cylindrical portion extending from the flange in one direction which will provide a bearing support for an outer race of a ball bearing, and a radially inner cylindrical portion extending in an opposed direction that will be away from the ball bearing relative to the flange. The flange is generally cylindrical but has a truncated portion over a circumferential extent. The first cylindrical portion is formed with radially enlarged portions with intermediate radially thinner portions. The flange includes bolt holes circumferentially aligned with the radially thinner portions.

Generator ball bearing support

A method for winding a stator of a multi-phase motor includes successively winding each of a plurality of teeth on the stator with a continuous winding wire to connect each of the phases in the motor together. The wound wire is disconnected between any two phases where respective ends of the two phases connected by the winding wire are not neutral ends. A jumper wire is connected between a neutral end of any one of the phases to a neutral end of at least one other phase if the neutral end of any one of the phases is not connected to the neutral end of at least one other phase by the winding wire.
