A sill pan concealment system and method for concealing a sill pan wall that lies across a threshold. The system comprises a sill pan that rests flush across the threshold, and a sill that is disposed parallel and in alignment with the sill pan. The sill fits into the sill pan to create a protruding barrier across the threshold. The sill pan has an interior wall oriented towards the interior region; and an exterior wall oriented towards the exterior region. The sill has a sill interior end that orients towards the sill an interior wall. The sill interior end forms an elongated notch through a cross section of the sill. The notch is sized and dimensioned to align with, and receive the interior wall of the sill pan. In this manner, the interior wall of the sill pan is concealed in the notch, from the perspective of interior region.

A gutter attachable to wall structure of a building for the reception of moisture and the discharge of same harmlessly to an exterior wall surface. The gutter includes a rear wall for disposition below a sill pan mounted in a door or window opening of the building structure. Extensions on the ends of the gutter also receive moisture from sill pan or structural surfaces of the building. Moisture from a sill pan is directed toward openings in a front wall of the gutter located above an exterior wall surface of the building structure. A trim plate conceals the openings. The extensions include convergent walls to avoid interference with the wall covering material later applied.

Gutter for window and door openings of a building structure

A moisture guard for inhibiting water damage to the interior of a home or building caused by moisture, leaks, rain, snow or the like accumulating at a door frame, window frame or the like. The moisture guard comprises a metallic facing fixed to a plastic molding, such as ABS plastic. The sill of a window frame or the sill of a door frame is seated on the metallic facing. The moisture guard has a z-shaped cross-sectional area. An integrally formed upstanding rear flange is at the rear edge of the base and an integrally formed depending front flange is at the forward edge of the base. At an end of the base is formed an end flange with an upstanding vertical wall and with a vertical side wall. The height of the vertical side wall is coextensive with the height of the upstanding end wall and the vertical side wall extends to the depth of the depending front flange.
