Emulsifiable linear polyethylene compositions which exhibit good hardness and color characteristics can be obtained by oxidizing a blend of about 90 to 60% by weight of either linear low density polyethylene or high density polyethylene and about 10 to 40% by weight paraffin wax to an acid number of 12 to 30 mg KOH/g. The water emulsions obtained from the emulsifiable polyethylene compositions are useful as textile lubricants and fruit coatings.

Emulsifiable linear polyethylene compositions and process for preparation

A method of manufacturing a polyolefin using a catalyst system of an ingredient (A) and ingredient (B), with ingredient A being obtained through successive reaction steps. Ingredient A is prepared by forming a mixture of (1) the combination of (a) metallic magnesium or an oxygen-containing organic compound of magnesium with (b) a mixture of a monohydroxylated organic compound and a polyhydroxylated organic compound, (2) oxygen-containing organic compounds of titanium and (3) at least one alpha-olefin having at least 4 carbon atoms, such as 1-hexene. The resulting solution is reacted in sequence with (4) at least one first halogenated aluminum compound, (5) at least one silicon compound and (6) at least one second halogenated aluminum compound. Ingredient B is an organometallic compound of metals from Group Ia, IIa, IIIa or IVa of the Periodic Table. The resulting free-flowing polyolefin is characterized by a large average particle size and small amount of fine particles.

A mechanical game device for use with rolling balls. The device includes a base block with a plurality of ball receiver pockets that are visible to the player. Located in the base block are a plurality of code blocks adapted for selective insertion in the base block in interchangeable side-by-side relation. This invention relates to novel emulsifiable polyethylene paraffin blend compositions, the blend compositions having a viscosity of about 95 to 2,600 cp at 150.degree. C. and an acid number of about 15 to 17 milligrams KOH/gm, said blend composition comprising (a) about 35 to 47 weight % of an ether soluble fraction having a viscosity of about 1 to 20 cp at 125.degree. C. and a density of 0.895 to 0.900 g/cc: (b) about 33 to 39 weight % of a hexane soluble fraction having a viscosity of 1,300 to 4,000 cp at 125.degree. C. and a density of 0.938 to 0.941 g/cc; and (c) about 20 to 26 weight % of a hexane insoluble fraction having a viscosity of 12,000 to 100,000 cp at 150.degree. C. and a density of 0.939 to 0.946 g/cc.
