A method is provided for automatically decelerating a vehicle to avoid a collision or reduce the consequences of a collision with a detected collision object, wherein, at a determined intervention point-in-time, a brake system of the vehicle is automatically triggered such that a deceleration of the vehicle is caused, and wherein an automatic deactivation of the automatic braking intervention can take place by an increased actuation of the accelerator. A deactivation is carried out as a function of an override maneuver that depends on the actual driving dynamics, particularly an actuation of the accelerator that depends on the actual driving dynamics.

Method for automatically decelerating a vehicle to avoid collision or to reduce the consequences of a collision

A method of controlling an automatic switch-off and switch-on procedure of a drive unit in a motor vehicle via a start-stop device is provided, by which, when the motor vehicle stops, the drive unit is automatically switched off if predefined switch-off conditions have been met, and by which an automatically switched-off drive unit is automatically switched on if at least one driver-side or system-side switch-on request is made. When a system-side switch-on request takes place, the automatic switch-on procedure will be suppressed at least temporarily if a delay condition exists.

Method of controlling an automatic switch-off and switch-on procedure of a drive unit in a motor vehicle

A method provides driving operation data in a network for wirelessly exchanging driving operation data. A first motor vehicle connected to the network by communication technology determines the absolute driving operation data of a second motor vehicle by way of at least one environment sensor disposed in the first motor vehicle. The absolute driving operation data of the second motor vehicle are transmitted by the first motor vehicle to at least one other subscriber to the network.
