A Bowden cable coupling for releasably coupling a first Bowden cable to a second Bowden cable is configured and operable to transmit mechanical forces from an activation element to a functional element. The Bowden cable coupling has a first coupling unit which is connected to the first Bowden cable, a second coupling unit which is connected to the second Bowden cable, and a coupling sleeve for connecting the first coupling unit and the second coupling unit together, wherein the first coupling unit and the coupling sleeve are releasably connected to one another by way of a bayonet closure.

Folding wheelchair

A foldable wheelchair includes two side frames, each having a front wheel and a rear wheel mounted thereon, and a scissor-type element arranged between the side frames and having two scissor-type arms that are mounted pivotably in the side frames in one scissor-type element end. The scissor-type arms are mounted pivotably in another scissor-type element end in manually actuable actuating members that are mounted pivotably to the side frames at a distance from the pivot axis of the other scissor-type element end. A folding hinge is mounted pivotably in the side frames and is arranged at a distance from the other scissor-type element end. An actuating means is connected pivotably to the folding hinge at a distance from the side frames and is effective between the folding hinge and one of the actuating members at a distance from the pivot axis of the actuating member in the associated side frame. Means are provided for fixing at least one actuating member relative to the associated side frame in the unfolded position of the wheelchair.

A collapsible stroller for children and the like includes front and rear struts interconnected by at least one transverse strut and a pair of longitudinal struts. Ground-engaging wheels are mounted at the lower ends of the front and rear struts. A push handle adapted for grasping includes lateral extensions having lower ends pivotally connected with a pair of slides, which are in turn slidingly connected with the upper portions of the rear struts to permit the push handle to be shifted between unfolded and folded configurations. A pair of support levers have opposite ends pivotally connected with the lower portions of the handle extensions and the upper portions of the front struts to permit shifting the stroller between the folded and unfolded configurations.

Collapsible stroller for children and the like

An adjustable motion wheel chair having a mobility base for supporting a back panel and a seat panel. A pair of control plates are mounted to the mobility base and positioned laterally across the mobility base in spaced apart parallel relation. The back panel includes a pair of pivot pins located on opposite lateral edges of the back panel which are pivotally received by a respective control plate. A linkage member hingedly connects the seat panel to the back panel. Each control plate includes a forwardly extending stop for limiting the downward movement of a front edge of the seat panel. A latch member is attached to each control plate and is operable between a first position where the back panel is fixed in angular relation with the seat panel and a second position where the back panel is rotatable with respect to the seat panel.

Adjustable motion wheel chair

A stroller, in particular a rehabilitation stroller, having a front frame which extends upward to the rear, at an angle &#x3c;90&#xb0; to the ground and has two front frame struts, which are directed forward and downward and are equipped at their respectively lower ends with front wheels, and has a push bar at its rear, upper end, and having a rear frame which extends downward to the rear and is fastened at its upper end to the front frame and/or to the push bar thereof and is equipped at its rear, lower end with rear wheels. In order to obtain optimum shock absorption for the child and optimum maneuverability of the stroller, the latter comprises, according to the invention, a frame construction which serves as a seat carrier or is actually part of a seat, is guided in a longitudinally displaceable manner on the two front frame struts and is supported with respect to the front frame struts on at least one spring bearing, the spring force of which can be adjusted.

Rehabilitation stroller

The invention relates to a wheelchair having side frames including tube sections having a tube-bend at the front bottom end of each in an area proximate to where a bearing housing is mounted. The bearing housing has an approximately vertical bearing bore for accommodating an upwardly directed axle pin of a steering fork for holding a caster. The bearing housing also has an adjustment device, which is integrated in the screw mounting, for adjusting the bearing housing with respect to the side frame in order to align the bearing bore perpendicular to the ground. The bearing housing is mounted to the tube-bend via a guide passage of a clamping shell, which is correspondingly curved and is open on one side. The clamping shell is fitted laterally to the tube-bend and, is displaceably guided and is fixable in the desired position by tightening at least one clamping screw.

Disclosed is a cross-strut arrangement for a folding roller-mounted chair having at least two struts connected to one another in a crosswise manner via a cross-strut articulation. The struts each are designed such that they can be changed in length, telescopically, for adjusting the seat width. At the top end of each strut a seat profile is located in the longitudinal direction of the folding roller-mounted chair and transverse to the strut for fixing the seat surface is adjustable to increase the seat depth. The cross-strut arrangement is comprised of the following features: each strut is made up of a top strut section and a bottom strut section, of which one telescopes in the other in a stepwise manner; each strut section has a row of holes corresponding to the other; a fastener which forms the cross-strut articulation is optionally fitted through a bore of one row of holes and, at the same time, through three further bores which are in alignment with said bore and belong to the other three rows of holes of the two struts; and the rows of holes are arranged such that the cross-strut articulation can always be fitted in the center of the crossover point.
