A filter for a spa or pool, having a filter body which receives a filter bag having a sheath encompassing the exterior of the filter body and a pocket extending inwardly from the front end of the sheath into the filter. Operation of the spa water circulation system draws spa water into the filter bag pocket while concurrently spa water is drawn transversely through the filter bag sheath and auxiliary spa water openings into the filter body. An O-ring encircles the upper portion of the filter bag to releasably retain such bag to the filter body during operation of the spa water circulation system.

Spa and pool filter

A filtering system for a spa or pool that includes a closed filtering tank which houses a filter having a filter body which receives a filter bag having a sheath encompassing the exterior of the filter body and a pocket extending inwardly from the front end of the sheath into the filter. An O-ring encircles the upper portion of the filter bag to releasably retain such bag to the filter body during operation of the spa water circulation system. A pump is provided to force water from the spa or pool into the filtering tank, through the filter body and back into the spa or pool.

Filtering system for a pool or spa

An internal spa filter for a spa, having a filter body with an inlet opening at its one end and a discharge orifice at its opposite end, the sides of such body are formed with auxiliary spa water inlet openings. The filter also includes a filter bag having a sheath encompassing the exterior of the filter body and a pocket extending inwardly from the front end of the sheath into the filter body from the main spa water inlet opening. Operation of the spa water circulation system draws spa water into the main spa water inlet opening through the filter bag pocket into the filter body while concurrently spa water is drawn transversely through the filter bag sheath and auxiliary spa water openings into the filter body, all of such spa water flows rearwardly out of the filter body through the filter body discharge orifice.

Internal spa filter

An adjustable headrest for a spa tub includes a housing defining a first recess for receiving a pillow for supporting the head of an occupant. A spa tub defines a second recess for slidingly receiving the housing. A positioning device, coupled to the housing and the recess of the spa tub, allows adjustment of the height of the housing relative to the spa tub. A front surface of the housing and the pillow lie flush with adjacent surfaces of the spa tub. The adjustable headrest further includes a water jet, mounted on the housing below the pillow, for directing water (but preferably not air to reduce splashing) under pressure towards the neck of the occupant. The direction of the water leaving the water jet can be adjusted.

A mixing system for introducing ozone into water of a hydrotherapy spa includes filter for filtering water from said hydrotherapy spa. A pump draws water from said hydrotherapy spa through said filter. A first injector includes a first input for receiving filtered water from said filter, a second input for receiving ozone, and an output for providing a first mixture of ozone in solution with said filtered water and ozone not in solution with said filtered water. A recapturing unit, coupled to said output of said first injector, separates said ozone not in solution with said filtered water from said first mixture. A second injector, having a first input coupled to said recapturing unit, a second input coupled to said filter, and an output, provides a second mixture of said ozone not in solution with said filtered water and said filtered water at said output of said second injector means.

Ozone mixing system for a hydrotherapy spa

A combination adjustable jet valve for use in a spa, tub or the like, having a valve body and nozzle assembly which can be easily manipulated to adjust the water jet flow, aeration of the water jet and direction of the discharging water jet. A flush mounted control grip on the spa valve body can be rotated to vary the water jet from off to full flow positions. The valve nozzle can be pulled to an on position, allowing the valves venturi effect to draw air into the water flow and aerate the discharging water jet. Alternatively, the nozzle can be pushed into the off position such that air is no longer drawn into the water flow and the discharging water jet is no longer aerated. The nozzle is mounted into a ball socket type arrangement within the valve, allowing directional adjustment of the discharging water jet. Also disclosed is an embodiment where both the water and air are controlled through manipulation of the spa valve nozzle.
