A vent screen for an electronic device is provided. The vent screen may include a framework formed from an integral substrate, and a plurality of voids formed in the framework. Typically, the voids are formed by etching away portions of the substrate, and are separated from each another by a plurality of separators formed in the framework. The separators may have a width of less than 1 mm.

A screen assembly is disclosed, wherein the screen assembly includes a frame including a screen retention section configured to receive and retain the screen, wherein the screen retention section includes a channel configured to receive an edge of the screen, and a screen retaining member disposed at least partially within the channel between the screen and a first side of the channel, wherein the screen retaining member biases the screen against a second side of the channel to secure the screen in the screen retention section.

Screen assembly

Apparatuses, a system, and a method for rotatable coupling of components are disclosed herein. The apparatus may include a base having a mounting feature to couple the appparatus to a product housing and a through-hole to provide access to an interior cavity of the product housing. The apparatus may further include a flange, couple to the base having a surface and a plurality of detents disposed on the surface, the flange and the plurality of detents configured to rotatably couple to a pivot mate configured to complement one or more of the plurality of detents in a manner to allow the pivot mate to rotate from a first position relative to the apparatus to a second position creative to the apparatus.

A modular keypad assembly for use with a projection device is provided. This modular keypad assembly may include a user input through which a user may operate the projection device. Such a modular keypad assembly may include a elastomer keypad, a keypad support plate; and a keypad circuit board.

Modular keypad assembly

An elevator assembly for use with a projection device is provided. In one embodiment, the elevator assembly may include a foot extension configured to contact a reference surface, and a substantially planar one-piece bracket configured to support the foot extension and slidibly couple the foot extension with a housing of the projection device, wherein the bracket enables the foot extension to extend and refract relative to the housing of the projection device. In some embodiments, the bracket may be configured to slidably couple the foot extension with the housing via a snap fit connection.

Elevator assembly for a projection device

A projection device is provided, wherein the projection device includes a casing, a plurality of electronic components mounted within the casing, a vent in the casing disposed substantially adjacent to an electronic component, and an injection molded, electrically nonconductive vent screen having one or more mesh portions substantially bordered by a peripheral frame, wherein the vent screen is detachably coupled within the casing and secured against the vent.

An elevator assembly for use with a projection device is provided. In one embodiment, the elevator assembly may include a foot extension configured to contact a reference surface, and a one-piece substantially planar bracket configured to support the foot extension and slidably couple the foot extension with a housing of the projection device, wherein the bracket enables the foot extension to extend and retract relative to the housing of the projection device. In some embodiments, the bracket may be configured to slidably couple the foot extension with the housing via a snap fit connection.

An electronics housing enabled to compensate for the accumulation of dimensional tolerances to enable reliable connection between one or more connectors mounted to internal electronic components and external connectors from one or more external devices. An alignment plate is provided that adapts an aperture in the housing to the connectors. The alignment plate is adapted to account for tolerance accumulation by being positional within the housing while substantially covering the space between the connectors and the housing aperture. The alignment plate in cooperation with an EMI a shield provides electromagnetic shielding about the connectors.
