Exemplary media content watch list systems and methods are disclosed. An exemplary method includes a media content watch list subsystem maintaining media content watch list data representing a plurality of media content instances available for experiencing by a user, receiving a request for a media content watch list from a media content access device associated with the user, generating the media content watch list based on the media content watch list data and the request, and transmitting data representative of the media content watch list to the media content access device for presentation to the user. The maintaining of the media content watch list data includes updating the media content watch list data based on at least one predetermined non-watch-list-specific operation performed by the media content access device associated with the user. Corresponding systems and methods are also disclosed.

In certain embodiments, a radial configuration of time based information is displayed by a computing system in a graphical user interface. The radial configuration includes a graphical timeline spirally disposed about at least one axis point in the graphical user interface. In certain examples, the graphical timeline represents a time period and includes a first section representing a first portion and a second section representing a second portion of the time period. In certain other embodiments, a radial configuration of time based information is displayed by a computing system in a graphical user interface. The radial configuration represents a time period and includes a first radial section and a second radial section disposed about an axis point at different radial distances from the axis point. The first radial section represents a first portion and the second radial section represents a second portion of the time period.

Systems and methods for radial display of time based information

Exemplary enhanced media content tagging systems and methods are described herein. An exemplary method includes a media content tagging system recording a live transmission of media content in response to a user request that the media content be recorded, receiving, from a media content access device, tag data representative of a user-defined tag specifying a segment of the media content, optimizing the user-defined tag, and distributing the optimized user-defined tag to another media content access device for use by the another media content access device to identify and present the segment of the media content. In certain embodiments, the optimization of the user-defined tag may be based on an analysis of aggregated user-defined tags, an analysis of the media content, or a combination thereof. Corresponding methods and systems are also disclosed.

Enhanced media content tagging systems and methods

In certain embodiments, a radial configuration of time based information and a graphical object representative of an event are displayed together in a graphical user interface. A position of the graphical object relative to the radial configuration of time based information in the graphical user interface is configured to indicate a relationship between the event and the time based information. In certain embodiments, the radial configuration of time based information includes a visual representation of an analog clock face, and the graphical object includes a tab positioned along a perimeter of the analog clock face. In certain embodiments, the radial configuration of time based information includes a visual representation of a timeline spirally disposed about at least one axis point, and the graphical object is positioned along a section of the timeline.

Augmenting interactive television content utilizing a dynamic cloud activity guide

A remote control that includes buttons on the side or bottom may be used to control television viewing provided through a set-top box. In one particular implementation, a method may include receiving, by the set-top box, a signal from the remote control indicating entry to an interactive input mode and receiving another signal from the remote control indicating motion of the remote control. The set-top box may identify an intended command based on the second signal and control television programming in response to the command.

A computing device-implemented method includes displaying a receding timeline configured to fade back toward a horizon, the receding timeline including a starting point at a current time that is updated with a changing time. The method further includes receiving a time-related item from a peripheral application and creating a graphic based on the time-related item. The method also includes displaying the graphic at the starting point of the receding timeline and reducing the graphic size proportionally with the changing time of the receding timeline.

In certain embodiments, a graphical representation of a two-dimensional radial menu is displayed in a graphical user interface. The graphical representation of the two-dimensional radial menu is transformed into a graphical representation of a three-dimensional radial menu in the graphical user interface. In certain embodiments, the displaying comprises utilizing data representative of a three-dimensional radial menu model to render the graphical representation of the two-dimensional radial menu, based on a first viewpoint, in the graphical user interface, and the transforming comprises utilizing the data representative of the three-dimensional radial menu model to render the graphical representation of the three-dimensional radial menu, based on a second viewpoint, in the graphical user interface. In certain embodiments, the transforming comprises repositioning a viewpoint associated with the graphical representation of the two-dimensional radial menu to produce the graphical representation of the three-dimensional radial menu.
