An enclosure may be secured to an enclosure frame by a fastener that continuously extends through a first aperture of the enclosure and a second aperture of an isolator. The isolator may contact the first aperture, enclosure frame, and fastener. The second aperture can be shaped to dampen vibration frequencies between the enclosure frame and the enclosure.

Vibration isolator

A modular fan assembly for use in a multi-device storage enclosure. In some embodiments, the fan assembly has a rigid open frame with opposing first and second ends. A first fan is connected to the first end and a second fan is connected to the second end. The first and second fans are configured to establish a fluidic airflow through the frame. An airflow diverter positioned in an intermediate portion of the frame between the first and second ends divert at least a portion of the fluidic airflow through a first aperture of the frame to cool an active element outside the frame.

Modular fan assembly

A data storage enclosure may house at least two data storage devices and consist of a first electrical connector and a latch feature. The first electrical connector may be aligned with a second electrical connector of a data storage rack. The latch feature can be configured to contact a frame of the data storage rack to prevent the first and second electrical connectors from contacting until a lever of the latch feature is activated.
