A multicomponent composition for coloration of materials such as keratin fibers, keratin material, keratin textiles including but not limited to hair, eyebrows, eyelashes, skin, nails and animal fiber textiles is disclosed. The multicomponent composition comprises a first component of a CDI link compound having inert or reactive termini and having at least two groups capable of in situ combination with carbodiimide which preferably are acid groups, a second component of a polycarbodiimide terminated by inert or reactive groups, a third component of a polyamine. Optional additional components are also disclosed.

The present invention relates to a permanent shaping composition for the permanent deformation of hair comprising, in a cosmetically acceptable carrier, at least one reducing agent comprising a mercapto functional group, at least one alkalizing agent, and a malodor suppressant system comprising at least a first malodor suppressant, herein the first malodor suppressant has a molecular weight of from 100 to 400 g/mol, and wherein the malodor suppressant system has a distribution coefficient log P (octanol/water) of 2 or more.

Composition for the permanent deformation of hair having reduced odor

The instant disclosure generally relates to a multicomponent composition for coating mammalian or synthetic keratin material and textiles, the composition comprising a first and second components and a third component. The first and second components comprise first and second compounds respectively. Any one or more of the first, second and third components may also comprise pigment microparticles. The first, second and third compounds meld together on keratin material and textiles and especially on hair to form a coating that can be formulated to provide temporary coverage or provide permanent coverage. The multicomponent composition formed and set in situ as a solid linked coating ranges from ready removability to substantially permanent lastingness.

The first component includes an organic polymer, the second component includes an in situ linking material, the third component includes a base compound and the fourth component includes a catalyst or other substance. One or more of the components includes pigment microparticles. The multicomponent composition in situ links upon application, forms a solid coating on treated material such as hair and has a substantially long color remanence following development. Methods of using such compositions are also described herein.

The first component includes an organic polymer, the second component includes a pretreatment base compound. One or more of the components includes pigment microparticles. The bicomponent composition combines upon application to treated material such as hair, forms a solid coating thereon and has a substantially long color fastness following development (setting). Methods of using such compositions are also described herein.
