A unison ring assembly for a gas turbine engine has a unison ring and a plurality of levers extending from the unison ring. Each lever has a pin at one end that inserts through a bore of a respective bush mounted in the unison ring. Each bush is formed as separate first and second parts which are mounted to their through-hole by inserting the first part into the through-hole from one side of the unison ring and the second part into the through-hole from the opposing side of the unison ring. Each part has a respective stop which prevents that part from inserting into the through-hole by more than a predetermined amount. When both parts are inserted by their predetermined amounts, their ends join together to form the bush and prevent the parts being retracted from the through-hole.

Unison ring assembly

There is proposed a bladed rotor for a turbo-machine, the rotor having a rotational axis and including a hub defining a plurality of circumferentially spaced-apart slots around its periphery. Each slot slideably receives a root portion of a respective rotor blade, the root portion of each blade defining a radially inwardly open retaining groove within which a respective region of a retaining ring locates to retain the blades in said slots. The retaining ring also engages within a plurality of radially inwardly open hub grooves formed around the hub. The retaining ring engages each said hub groove such that a radial gap is defined between the retaining ring and a radially outermost region of each hub groove.

Bladed rotor

There is disclosed a stator vane assembly comprising a support structurearranged to be mounted to a mounting structure, a stator vaneradially extending from the support structureand a continuity membercoupled to the support structureand arranged in use to extend between the mounting structureand the support structureso as to provide a substantially continuous gas-washed surface across the mounting structureand the support structure. There is also disclosed a method of forming a stator vane assembly, the method comprising the steps of forming at least one stator vane radially extending from a support structure having a continuity member coupled thereto.
