An illustrative embodiment provides a computer-implemented process for navigation through historical stored interactions associated with a multi-user view that receives a previously saved multi-user view, wherein the multi-user view comprises a set of artifact attributes, receives an identified filter from a user, and presents a filtered view to the user. The process further determines whether to amend the filtered view, and responsive to a determination to amend the filtered view, generates an amended view from the filtered view, and responsive to a determination to save the amended view, saves the amended view as one of a new view or an updated view.

Navigation through historical stored interactions associated with a multi-user view

A method, computer system, and a computer program product for dynamic data visualization is provided. The present invention may include identifying at least one set of facts in a human-readable text document. They present invention may then include retrieving, from an information source, a dataset associated with the at least one identified set of facts. The present invention may also include, in response to determining that the retrieved dataset includes a fact-supporting dataset, wherein the fact-supporting dataset is configured to validate the at least one identified set of facts, generating at least one data visualization based on the retrieved dataset. The present invention may further include providing the at least one generated data visualization for inserting into the human-readable text document to support the at least one identified set of facts.

Dynamic data visualization from factual statements in text

Embodiments of the present invention provide systems and methods for visualizing and querying data. Data subsets within an original table are examined. Values within the data subsets are extracted. Based on the extracted values, a new table is generated. The data contents of the original table differ from the data contents of the new table. Thus, the resulting visualization of the original table differs from the resulting visualization of the new table.

Querying and projecting values within sets in a table dataset

A method, a computer program product, and an information handling system is provided for identifying a causal relationship between metrics performing steps. The steps include receiving a correlation significance Sij between a metric Mi and a metric Mj; receiving a mutability attribute Ai for the Mi and a mutability attribute Aj for the metric Mj from a data source; and identifying the metric Mi causing the metric Mj with the Sij if only if the Ai is immutable and the Aj is mutable.

Using ontology for cause-effect analysis

Identifying and visualizing geographic data includes obtaining a set of data including candidate geographic data elements. Metrics are determined based on two or more of: a best parent for the candidate geographic data elements; additional concepts associated with the candidate geographic data elements; and an average distance between the candidate geographic data elements. Then, the candidate geographic data elements are identified as geographic based on the metrics and a map is generated displaying the candidate geographic data elements identified as geographic.

The method may include receiving a plurality of social comments associated with a plurality of frames corresponding to the media file. A system and method for assigning concepts to sets of values. A dataset is selected, wherein the dataset includes a plurality of records, each record including a plurality of named fields, wherein each record includes each of the named fields. Each named field is assigned to a category and a concept is selected by identifying one or more named fields that, when combined, provide a unique value for each record. In some embodiments, the data is organized as a table, wherein the records are rows and the named fields are columns.

Detection and creation of appropriate row concept during automated model generation

A method, system and computer program product for evaluating the interestingness of correlated data. The fields of a dataset are classified by tagging the fields in terms of real world concepts. A correlation analysis on the dataset is performed to generate a correlation coefficient for each pair of fields of correlated data items. An 'ontological distance' between the tagged concepts for each pair of fields of correlated data items represented as nodes in the ontology is determined. A score is generated indicating an interestingness of correlation for each pair of fields of correlated data items based on the correlation coefficient and the ontological distance between the tagged concepts for each pair of fields of correlated data items. By utilizing the ontological distance with the correlation analysis to determine the interestingness of correlation, correlations that may not be obvious to users and unexpectedly correlated may be identified.

System and method for visualizing data

A method, a computer program product, and a computer system for identifying user preferences and changing settings of a device based on natural language processing. One or more programs running in background on the device capture an input of natural language from a user of the device, match the input of the natural language to a user frustration, map the user frustration to one or more solutions that make one or more changes of settings on the device, apply the one or more changes of settings to set user preference settings on the device, and store the user preference settings in a common store for the user.
