A downhole tool includes a mandrel and a lower sleeve positioned at least partially within the mandrel. The lower sleeve defines a first seat that is configured to receive a first impediment. The first impediment being received within the first seat triggers a primary hydraulic release of the downhole tool from a second downhole tool in a wellbore. The downhole tool also includes an upper sleeve positioned at least partially within the mandrel. The upper sleeve defines a second seat that is configured to receive a second impediment. The upper sleeve is configured to move in a downward direction from a first upper sleeve position to a second upper sleeve position in response to the second impediment being received in the second seat, which triggers a secondary hydraulic release of the downhole tool from the second downhole tool in the event that the primary hydraulic release fails.

Stop collars may be fixedly mounted on a liner or other tubular member. The stop collar comprises a first sleeve and a second sleeve. The sleeves are adapted to extend around the outer circumference of the tubular member and are engaged by threaded connections. The sleeves provide opposing inner thrust surfaces. The collar further comprises a radially expandable gripping member disposed between the opposing thrust surfaces. The sleeves may be drawn together by rotation about the threaded connection to cause the thrust surfaces to bear on the gripping member and expand the gripping member radially inward into frictional engagement with the tubular member.

The invention relates to a swivel sub for a string to be lowered into a wellbore and a method of operation in a wellbore, wherein such swivel sub is used and comprises: &#x2014;a first end provided with connection means for connecting a bottom section of a string; &#x2014;a second end provided with connection means for connecting an upper section of the string; &#x2014;a first member, including the first end and a sleeve portion opposed to the first end; &#x2014;a second member including the second end and comprising a section opposed to the second end and partially located within the sleeve portion; the first member and the second member being arranged to rotate relative to each other.

Downhole swivel sub

There is disclosed a tubing expansion device and a method of expanding tubing. In one embodiment, an expansion device () is disclosed which comprises at least one expansion member () adapted to expand a tubing () by inducing a hoop stress in the tubing (), and at least one further expansion member () adapted to expand the tubing () by inducing a compressive yield of the tubing (); and a method of expanding tubing () comprising the steps of expanding the tubing () at least in part by inducing a hoop stress in the tubing (), and expanding the tubing () at least in part by inducing a compressive yield of the tubing ().

Tubing expansion

Apparatus, such as a liner, adapted to be hung in a downhole tubular such as casing is described. The apparatus includes one or more circumferentially distributed abrasive portions, arranged to be movable radially outwards by a dimple former or an expander. In an embodiment, the abrasive portions are provided on disks moveable in recesses in the outer diameter of the apparatus being hung. In an embodiment, the apparatus is hung by operating a dimple former provided on the running tool.

In an embodiment of the invention, there is disclosed a tubing expansion tool () comprising a body () adapted for rotation within tubing to be expanded, and three expansion member modules () each comprising an expansion member () rotatably mounted with respect to the body (), each expansion member module () being releasably coupled to the body () as a unit.
