Pixel electrodes of a display device include plural first pixel electrodes and plural second pixel electrodes which have areas different from each other. Each of plural scanning signal lines is connected with any one of the plural first pixel electrodes and the plural second pixel electrodes through respective transistors. A control circuit applies a first conducting voltage that is a conducting voltage which is applied to the scanning signal lines connected with the first pixel electrodes, and a second conducting voltage that is a conducting voltage which is applied to the scanning signal lines connected with the second pixel electrodes, and different from the first conducting voltage.

Display device

Provided is a display device having plural data line voltage generation circuits capable of supplying a display control voltage to display elements of a color designated as necessary. The display device includes plural display elements each displaying an image of one color; plural gradation voltage output units provided for each color to output a gradation voltage corresponding to each display gradation value of a gradation number; plural display control voltage supply units connected to each of two or more display elements to supply control voltages corresponding to display data of the display elements to each of the display elements based on the gradation voltages of the gradation number output by any one of the gradation voltage output units; and plural gradation voltage selection units provided to one or each display control voltage supply unit to select the gradation voltage output by any one of the gradation voltage output units.

A liquid crystal display device includes a plurality of video signal lines that extends in columns in a display area, a plurality of inversion control signal line each supplied with an inversion control signal for controlling inversion, a first selector that selects one of a pair of amplifiers different in the polarity from each other to input signals corresponding to a pair of adjacent video signal lines on the basis of the inversion control signal, and a second selector that selects one of a pair of the corresponding adjacent video signal lines to input signals output from the pair of amplifiers on the basis of the inversion control signal, in which at least one of the signals to be supplied to the plurality of inversion control signal lines is a signal different from other signals.

Liquid crystal display device

A display device which transmits display data to drive circuits which drive a display panel using low voltage differential signals have input circuits which are hardly influenced by noise. To transmit the low voltage differential signals under the same condition, low voltage differential signal lines are formed in a zigzag pattern so as to make the lengths of the lines equal. To reduce the influence generated by the overlapping of the zigzagged low voltage differential signal lines and the drive circuits, level shift circuits are provided to the input circuits so as to make the input signals assume a stable operation level.
