An open-end spinning machine with a machine frame with at least one section. The latter is provided for each longitudinal machine side with a rigid structural unit which consists of several longitudinal structural elements and two end walls. Intermediate walls are provided at least between two adjoining pairs of spinning stations. These intermediate walls are rigidly connected to the longitudinal structural elements as are the intermediate walls, whereby the groups of technological spinning elements, including the parts of drive units and the winding mechanisms are attached to longitudinal structural elements and/or to the intermediate walls. The end walls of the two structural units are connected to each other in pairs.

Open-end spinning machine

In an open-end spinning machine is provided with a plurality of spinning stations installed next to each other. Each station having a spinning element part of a drive unit, and an opener unit contained in several assemblies. A plurality of longitudinal structure elements are provided to which the assemblies of the spinning device are attached. The longitudinal structural elements are interconnected by transversal bracing. The transversal bracing may be an intermediate wall.

Open-end spinning machine frame structure

The instant invention relates to a spinning device, in particular a spinning or winding device. The device comprises a pressure circuit with a valve installed therein to control the pressure. The valve can be actuated pneumatically. A device for rapid aeration of the valve is provided with the valve. The valve is actuated by compressed air acting upon a side of a cup seal away from a pressure chamber, causing the cup seal to close off an aeration opening. The compressed air streams past the cup seal and fills the pressure chamber, whereby a passage cross-section of the valve is reduced or closed off by means of a closing element acting upon the pressure in the pressure chamber in opposition to a restoring force. As the pressure on the side of the cup seal away from the pressure chamber is reduced, the pressure on the side of the cup seal towards the pressure chamber is increased. As a result the cup seal moves in direction of lower pressure and the aeration opening is again opened. The closing element returns in this manner rapidly into its original position under the effect of its restoring force.

Spinning device

A yarn draw-off pipe for drawing off a yarn from an open-end spinning device. The draw-off pipe is equipped with first and second pipe sections, which are connected to each other through a connecting piece. The connecting piece contains a chamber and is provided with a deflection surface extending into the chamber. The latter is part of an insert. The connecting piece is provided with an insertion opening for this insert on its side towards the spinning element, when assembled, the insert is secured axially between the front end of the insertion opening and the first pipe section or, alternatively, between the two pipe sections. The insert is made of a ceramic material and, with its end towards the spinning device, projects radially beyond the outside diameter of the first pipe section. The area of the guide left free by the insert is filled with a plastic material.

Control device to drive and stop an open-end spinning element

The housing (1) of a opening device for an open-end spinning apparatus is lined by a thin-walled insert (3) which exhibits a perforation for the discharge of material (dirt, fibers) from the interior space of the housing (1). For the protection of the edge (310) bounding this perforation downstream relative to the fiber flow, an edge protector (4) is provided which is slidable onto the edge (310) engaging over the latter. For sliding the edge protector (4) onto the edge (310) to be protected, or for stripping it therefrom, a combined insertion and ejection tool (5) is provided which is introducible into the insert (3) and movable with a contact surface (51) along the peripheral wall (33) of the insert (3). The combined insertion and ejection tool (5) has a receiving throat (6) for the temporary reception of the edge protector (4) with a step (60) overhanging the contact surface (51) and in turn exhibiting a stripping edge (67).

Protector device for an open-end spinning apparatus

A thread (3) paraffining device employing a paraffin element (2) which is resiliently biased against a stop rail (6). The stop rail 6 extends transversely to the thread path direction and is arranged on one half of the end face (20) of the paraffin element (2) remote from the thread contact side. The paraffin element (2) has a diameter of at least 50 mm.

An insert (3) is arranged in the interior space (10) of a housing (1) of an opening device for an open-end spinning apparatus. The insert (3) is of pot-like construction with a recess (35) provided in the base (34). The recess (35) exposes a bearing bore (18) through which a drive shaft extends for supporting the opening roller. A fixing device (41, 42) is likewise associated with the insert (3) securing its relative position to the housing. A guide element (5) introducible into the insert (3) is provided to guide the insert (3) during introduction into the housing (1) or during its removal. This has a contour corresponding to the interior space (10) of the housing (1) and one or more positioning lugs (50) on its end face opposite the base (34), corresponding to the number of the positioning cavities provided in the insert (3).
