The invention relates to a method for calibrating a sensor system of at least one measuring bearing for a bearing installation, said method being used to adjust individual measured values of an individual bearing installation using representative reference values of a reference installation.

Method for calibrating a sensor system of a measuring bearing for a bearing installation

The angular contact roller bearing has an outer bearing ring, an inner bearing ring, a plurality of ball rollers arranged between the rings, and a bearing cage. The ball rollers in the two adjacent rows have pressure angle axes extending parallel to one another and are arranged directly one next to the other with their side faces point toward one another. Adjacent ball rollers in the two rows are arranged on a common rotational axis. The ball rollers have diameters and widths which are dimensioned in such a way that envelope cones which form tangents with all the ball rollers at their diameters are arranged with their cone tips precisely at the intersection point of the common rotational axes of the bearing longitudinal axis.

The invention relates to a wheel bearing arrangement which enables a hub to be mounted in at least one non-rotating external ring such that it can rotate about the rotational axis of the hub. The wheel bearing arrangement comprises at least one sealing arrangement and one encoder and the sealing arrangement is secured to the hub side on the side of the wheel bearing arrangement whereon a radial flange extends in a radial manner from the hub. The encoder is actively connected to the sealing arrangement.

In order to allow a ball bearing to be inserted into a housing which is closed at one end, without any bearing parts being damaged during the axial insertion process, the outer ring of the bearing has a radially inwardly directed flange that extends radially into the region of the inner ring while toward the open end of the housing, the inner ring is formed on the axially outward side of the bearing balls, without a shoulder on the inner ring. An axial compression spring is arranged between the closed end of the housing and the inner ring. The flange on the outer ring may be either axially inward of or axially outward of the row of bearing balls.

A three-ring needle bearing with a central support shaft, a center ring around the shaft, an outer ring around the center ring, and an inner needle array between the shaft of the center ring and an outer needle array between the center ring and the outer ring. An axial disk at one axial end of the bearing push fit on the center ring and radially projecting past both the inner needle array and the outer needle array for axially supporting them. The outer ring having bend-in moldings which past the axial disk at one end and past the end of the outer needle array at the other end. A drive shaft rotates the center ring, which is eccentric with reference to the support shaft.

Three-ring needle bearing

A mounting sleeve particularly for the loose annular parts of a multi-row anti-friction bearing wherein the rows of rolling bodies are toward the axial ends of the outer ring. The mounting sleeve is approximately U-shaped with a slit opening of about 90.degree. in it extending along the sleeve. At axially opposite ends of the U-shaped sleeve are formed radially inwardly directed flanges which extend over a smaller circumferential angle than the sleeve, e.g. over an angle of about 180.degree., and are each symmetric around the U-shaped sleeve. Projections on the axial insides of the flanges rest axially either against the row of rolling bodies or against the separators for the row of rolling bodies. A radially outward projection opposite the slit opening in the sleeve aids in installation and removal of the sleeve.
