Device for separating packages for flowable media

A method and apparatus for manufacturing a pack for flowable contents in a deep draw process having tubular side walls, a bottom and a top. The top has a pouring opening having an upstanding collar and a seam that passes around the pack in a plane that is oriented in the top so that the plane is interrupted by the pouring opening and projects on diametrically oppositely disposed sides almost as far as a free upper edge of the collar. The collar is formed of two collar halves joined together at the seam, and threads are provided on the collar for a screw top. An annular fitting sealing surface is provided on the free upper edge of the collar

Method and apparatus for manufacturing a pack for flowable contents

A pack for flowable contents, such as liquids, has tubular side walls, a bottom and a top wall, and is formed of a deep-drawable plastics material. The top includes a vertically upstanding, externally threaded collar and defines a pouring opening which is closable by a threaded top. The pack is formed by two half shells, and a seam passes around the pack in a longitudinal plane and extends nearly to the top free upper edge of the collar. The seam is interrupted in the top by the pouring opening and projects outwardly from diametrically opposite sides of the pack. According to a method for forming the pack of the invention, the collar is formed by two collar halves which are joined together at the seam. Threads are formed on the collar and the upper free edge includes an annular sealing surface for a correspondingly formed screw top.

A pourer device of synthetic plastic material for attachment to a hole in a package for flowable contents includes a bottom part and a closure part that are connected to one another by a hinge. At least one of the bottom part and the closure part is movable between an open position and a closed position. A pourer orifice is formed in the bottom part and a synthetic plastic film is provided between the closure part and the bottom part, over the orifice. An apparatus for a flying change-over of a synthetic plastics strip (13, 13') from a first drum with a roll (3, 3') of this strip to a second drum carrying a roll (3, 3') of the same synthetic plastics strip (13, 13') has, in addition to the two drums, a cutting (9, 9') and gluing (5) means as well as control means (6) for actuating the various drives. To reduce the number of packages which are wasted in the package production machine, even though the production machine continues to operate even while the drums are being changed, it is according to the invention envisaged that direction-changing (15, 16, 18, 21), guide (8, 8') and pressure-applying rollers (7, 7') should be adjustably disposed and symmetrical in relation to a central line m which extends at right-angles to the connecting line v between the axes (4, 4') of the two rolls (3, 3'), and in that in each case one pressure-applying roller (7, 7') is adjustable in relation to the other and in that the adjusting drive (31, 31') for this can be controlled by a switch (10, 10') which is actuated as a function of the position of a roll sensing roller (26, 26').
