Disclosed herein are a fiber-reinforced material and an article made of the same. The fiber-reinforced material includes a fiber assembly and a matrix material coating the fiber assembly, the matrix material is a thermoplastic resin composition obtained by blending a polyolefin resin, a polyamide resin, and a modified elastomer that reacts with the polyamide resin. When a puncture test is performed at a striker speed of 1-4 msec and when a maximum impact force is applied is defined as Pand a deflection at break is defined as P, P/P≥4. When the amount of energy absorbed before a maximum impact force is applied is E, the amount of energy absorbed after a maximum impact force is applied and before break is E, and a total amount of absorbed energy of Eand Eis E, the ratio of E:Eis 70% or more.

Fiber-reinforced material and structure

Disclosed herein are a foamed resin molded body that has excellent impact resistance and rigidity and that is hardly fractured even when subjected to high impact, and a method for manufacturing the same. The foamed resin molded body is made of an olefin-based resin composition containing an olefin resin and a polyamide resin, the olefin-based resin composition has a continuous phase containing the olefin resin and a dispersed phase dispersed in the continuous phase and containing the polyamide resin, and the dispersed phase contains a melt-kneaded product of the polyamide resin and an elastomer having a reactive group that reacts with the polyamide resin.

A thermoplastic resin composition, a molded body, and first and second production methods are disclosed. The thermoplastic resin composition contains a polyolefin resin, a polyamide resin, and a modified elastomer and shows non-Newtonian properties in a fluidized state. The molded body includes the thermoplastic resin composition. The first production method includes molding the thermoplastic resin composition at a shear rate of 80 secor more and a standby step in which resin composition is on standby at a shear rate of 0 secor more but less than 80 sec. The second production method includes molding the resin composition at a shear rate Xto obtain part of a molded body and molding the resin composition at a shear rate Xto obtain another part of the molded body, wherein an absolute value of a difference between Xand Xis 200 secor more.

Disclosed herein are a vehicle door trim board that is less likely to break due to partial use of an impact resistant resin and a door trim using such a vehicle door trim board. A vehicle door trim board includes a reinforcing part made of an impact resistant resin containing a polyolefin resin, a polyamide resin, and a compatibilizer, wherein the compatibilizer is a modified elastomer having a reactive group that reacts with the polyamide resin. The door trim includes: the vehicle door trim board; and a surface skin layer provided on a design surface side of the vehicle door trim board.

The modifier is composed of a continuous phase (A) containing a second polyolefin resin, and a dispersed phase (B) dispersed in the continuous phase (A) and containing a polyamide resin and a modified elastomer. The dispersed phase (B) is composed of a melt-kneaded product of the polyamide resin and the modified elastomer having a reactive group that reacts with the polyamide resin. The energy absorber includes an olefin-based resin composition obtained by mixing an olefin resin, a polyamide resin, and an elastomer having a reactive group that reacts with the polyamide resin, wherein the olefin-based resin composition has a continuous phase containing the olefin resin and a polyamide resin-based dispersed phase dispersed in the continuous phase, and the polyamide resin-based dispersed phase has a structure in which the elastomer is contained in a matrix phase containing the polyamide resin.

Disclosed is a method for adjusting a dispersion diameter to control the dispersion diameter of a dispersed phase in a thermoplastic resin composition having a multiphase structure, and a thermoplastic resin composition obtained by the method. The method includes mixing a polyolefin resin, a polyamide resin, and a compatibilizer and has a continuous phase composed of the polyolefin resin and a dispersed phase dispersed in the continuous phase and composed of the polyamide resin where the compatibilizer is a polymer having a reactive group that reacts with the polyamide resin, and that an amount of the polymer to be mixed based on a total of the polyolefin resin and the polyamide resin is varied to adjust a dispersion diameter of the dispersed phase. This composition has 50 or more but 450 or less the dispersed phase per 10 micrometers square.

A thermoplastic resin composition, a method for manufacturing the same, and a molded body are provided. The composition includes a polyolefin resin PO, a polyimide resin PA, and a compatibilizer. The composition has a first phase composed of the PA and compatibilizer and/or a reaction product thereof and a second phase composed of the PO and interposed between the first phases. The first phase has a matrix phase composed of the PA and a dispersed phase dispersed in the matrix phase and composed of the compatibilizer and/or a reaction product thereof. A first bracket has a first connector and a plurality of engagement members. The engagement members guide engagement protrusions mentioned later inside to engage with them. During interconnection of the brackets, the engagement protrusions are inserted into the engagement members before the connectors are fitted to one another. The guiding and engagement of the engagement protrusions into and with the engagement members lead to fitting of the connectors to one another and interconnection of the brackets, resulting in the auxiliary component fixed to the first bracket.
