A sensor module includes a substrate with a slot formed therein. A sensor is mounted to the substrate and spans the slot. A first cover is disposed on a first side of the substrate and covers at least a portion of the slot. The first cover comprises a first aperture and a second aperture in fluid communication with the slot. The sensor is disposed between the first and second apertures.

Gas sensor module

A device for capturing a breath sample has a mouthpiece with a chamber that receives a breath sample through a breath inlet aperture. The device further includes a pump assembly with a pump that draws a portion of the breath sample from the chamber and discharges the portion of the breath sample to the sensor.

Breath capture and sampling system

Peristaltic pump assemblies in which the closing and opening of a pivoting or sliding door is coordinated with movement of the occlusion bed toward and away from the rotor assembly to engage and disengage tubing within the occlusion pathway are disclosed. Linkage mechanisms provided by the interaction of cam surfaces with rollers, as well as bar linkage mechanisms, are disclosed. The linkage mechanism, in addition to providing precise displacement of the occlusion bed, may also provide an over-center feature that enhances safety and pump operation when the door is in a closed position. Latching mechanisms and sensors may be incorporated. Adaptive components such as tubing cassettes routing aspiration and/or infusion tubing in a predetermined configuration to mate with occlusion pathways in aspiration and/or infusion pump assemblies provided in various types of medical devices and control consoles are also provided.

Peristaltic pump having a self-closing occlusion bed

Adaptive tubing cassettes for use in connection with interventional catheter assemblies

An apparatus comprising a movable optical element having an optical axis and including one or more focusing elements, an image sensor positioned along the optical axis and substantially normal thereto, and a radiation source attached to the movable optical element, wherein the radiation source directs a beam of radiation onto the sensor at a selected angle relative to the optical axis. A process comprising positioning a sensor along, and normal to, an optical axis of a movable optical element, projecting a radiation beam onto the sensor from a radiation source attached to the movable optical element, wherein the radiation beam is at a selected angle relative to the optical axis, and adjusting the position of the movable optical element until the position where the radiation beam falls on the sensor corresponds to the position where the radiation beam is expected to fall on the sensor when the movable optical element is in focus. Other embodiments are disclosed and claimed.
