The present invention relates to a self-contained unit having a system for recovering polymer overspray from a pallet coating process. The self-contained unit includes a common enclosure having at least four walls, a ceiling and a floor. There is a collection tank located below the floor of the common enclosure and a roof platform is located above the ceiling of the common enclosure. Within the common enclosure is at least one spray booth having a waterfall wall with liquid flowing down a face of the waterfall wall to the collection tank. Mounted on the roof platform is a consolidation tank, hydrocyclone and pressure filter that are all part of the system for removing the polymer from the overspray mixture collected at the collection tank.

Pallet coating waste recovery system

A system for recovery of animal byproducts and providing water reuse from an animal processing plant waste stream. In one embodiment of the invention there is an equalization tank forming part of an animal processing plant that is mechanically filtered to recover animal byproducts from a water mixture in the equalization tank. In another aspect of the invention there is a skimmer tank that contains a skimmer mixture with water and animal byproducts. The system mechanically separates the animal byproducts from the skimmer mixture in a manner that is suitable for human consumption. The system also allows the separated water to be reused in the animal processing plant.

Animal byproduct recovery system

A system for consolidating and removing contaminate such as paint sludge or oils from a fluid mixture. A contaminate tank receives a supply of the fluid mixture containing contaminate from a source such as a manufacturing line where overspray of paints or cleaning solutions containing washed away oils are collected. A free floating weir floats on the surface of the contaminate tank and mechanically separates and removes contaminate from a surface of the contaminate tank and concentrates contaminate in a consolidation tank. The free floating weir is equipped with several features that enhance the ability of the free floating weir to remove contaminate without becoming clogged.

A system for consolidating and removing contaminate such as paint sludge or oils from a fluid mixture. A contaminate tank receives a supply of the fluid mixture containing contaminate from a source such as a manufacturing line where overspray of paints or cleaning solutions containing washed away oils are collected. A free floating weir floats on the surface of the contaminate tank and mechanically separates and removes contaminate from a surface of the contaminate tank and concentrates the contaminate in a consolidation tank. In the consolidation tanks the contaminate is further separated and collected for disposal.

An automated cathodic electrodeposition line has a barrel carriage assembly that is electrically energized only when in contact with a treatment tank or an overhead programmed hoist. A parts transfer shuttle moves phosphated parts from one treatment barrel to another barrel and between separate sections of the coating line to reduce cross contamination. An automatic parts loader rotates a bin filled with parts into a parts discharge position for loading parts onto a vibrating tray that in turn moves parts into a treatment barrel. Cathodically coated parts are cured by infra-red parts in a curing oven.

Automated electrodeposition line

An open top oven (10) for curing and cooling a painted object such as a vehicle body (12) comprising a plurality of ducts (62,64,70,72,74) for selectively supplying air at different times in the paint curing and cooling process, including a plurality of quartz lamps (92) selectively spaced from the vehicle body (12) which are used to controllably raise the temperature of the body. A mechanism, supported by a cover (50) which cover encloses the oven, is provided to oscillate the body during paint curing and subsequent cooling.

Oven for the curing and cooling of painted objects and method

An apparatus for immersing a plurality of workpieces adapted to be raised and lowered in response to control commands. The apparatus includes a support structure having a plurality of work carrier units rotationally supported thereon. The apparatus further includes means for linking the plurality of work carrier units so that they may be rotated in unison.

Electrodeposition system and method therefor

A container comprising a bottom and walls extending therefrom forming a volume having an opening opposite from said bottom; and means for enclosing the volume, the enclosing means including means for supporting and suspending a workpiece within the enclosed volume apart from the walls and the bottom and means for circulating the heated air within said enclosed volume including an axial or radial flow fan.
