A method transferring drill cuttings, the method comprising transferring the drill cuttings from a pressurized transference device to a pressurized container; transferring the drill cuttings from the pressurized container to a land-based pit discharging station; and discharging the drill cuttings into the land-based pit discharging station. Also, a system for transferring drill cuttings while drilling, the system comprising a pressurized transfer device; a pressurized container in fluid communication with the pressurized transfer device; a conduit disposed between the pressurized transfer device and the pressurized container; and a land-based pit discharging station in fluid communication with the pressurized container.

Drilling waste treatment

An elongate apparatus is disclosed and comprises a material passage and one or more fluid passages. The material passage receives material therethrough. The one or more fluid passages are in fluid communication with the material passage. The material passage and the one or more fluid passages extend substantially parallel throughout the apparatus. A method comprises transferring material in a material passage and further comprises injecting a fluid into the material passage via one or more injection points located along a length of the material passage.

Hose for bulk transfer operations

A method for cleaning a reactor, the method including circulating a fluid inside the reactor, pumping the fluid from the reactor into an inlet of a tank cleaner, and removing solids from the fluid to produce a clean fluid. The method further includes transferring the clean fluid to the reactor and transferring pneumatically the removed solids to a pressurized vessel. Also, a method for transferring spent granular material, the method including providing a vacuum system disposed at a hydrocarbon production site to remove spent material from a reactor, transferring the spent material through the vacuum system into a pressurized vessel, and conveying pneumatically the spent material from the pressurized vessel to a second pressurized vessel.

Cuttings processing system

A system for determining produced drill solids volume including a receiving vessel for receiving drill solids and a pressure vessel coupled to the receiving vessel. The receiving vessel has an isolation valve system to control the flow of drill solids between the receiving vessel and the pressure vessel, and the pressure vessel is adapted to allow a compressed gas to convey drill solids from the pressure vessel to a discharge line. The system also includes a skid having a plurality of weight sensors for weighing the drill solids in the pressure vessel, wherein the pressure vessel is disposed on the plurality of weight sensors and a programmable logic controller operatively couples to at least the plurality of weight sensors for calculating the weight of the drill solids in the pressure vessel.

A method of transferring material from a work site to a transport vehicle, the method including transferring a first material from a first cuttings storage vessel disposed at the work site to a cuttings storage assembly disposed on the transport vehicle, and transferring a second material from a second cuttings storage vessel disposed at the work site to the cuttings storage assembly disposed on the transport vehicle, wherein the transferring of the first material and the transferring of the second material occurs contemporaneously, and wherein the first material comprises dry cuttings and the second material comprises a fluid is also disclosed.

Use of cuttings tank for slurrification on drilling rig

A system for preparing a slurry in-transit including a first cuttings storage vessel disposed on a transport vehicle, a module configured to operatively connect to the first cuttings storage vessel, and a fluid supply line in fluid communication with the first cuttings storage vessel, the module including, a grinding device configured to facilitate the transfer of fluids and reduce particle size of drill cuttings, wherein the system is operated while the transport vehicle is moving. A method of operating an in-transit slurrification system including using a first vessel disposed on a moving transport vehicle for cuttings storage, and operating the first vessel in a slurrification process while the transport vehicle is moving.
