A cable management assembly is disclosed that can be completely factory assembled and shipped to a site for later mounting directly to a telecommunications rack or cabinet. The cable management assembly includes a plurality of cables secured within a carrier assembly. In one aspect, the cables have different or customized individual lengths. The carrier assembly can include a bracket portion and a plurality of cable management members extending from the bracket portion. The plurality of cable management members can define a plurality of cable routing apertures through which at least some of the plurality of cables extend. The bracket portion is mountable to a telecommunications rack with the plurality of cables mounted within the carrier assembly.

Cable management assembly for variable length cables

A patch panel configured for mounting to a network rack, includes: a frame including mounting features at opposite lateral ends for mounting the patch panel to the network rack; a bezel mounted to the patch panel, the bezel including a plurality of outlet apertures, and a plurality of communication outlets mounted in respective ones of the outlet apertures. Each of the outlets includes a plurality of electrical contacts within a plug aperture configured to receive a mating plug. The plug aperture has a generally horizontal axis for receiving the mating plug and further includes a plug latch recess. The outlets are oriented such that the plug latch recess is positioned on one side edge of the plug aperture.

Patch panels with communications connectors that are rotatable about a vertical axis

A patch panel, of the type for mounting to a rack system in a network closet, includes a plurality of openings for receiving bezels. The bezels may be connected to the patch panel by a snap-lock arrangement. Each bezel includes one or more ports for receiving a jack unit. The ports open in an angled direction toward a lateral side of the bezel. A surface is formed to a lateral side of the port, which accommodates snap locking features of a jack unit and a removable label over the snap locking features.
