A remotely-operable connector comprising a pair of female end fittings, each adapted to be permanently fixed one to each of a pair of pipes to be coupled together, and a jumper assembly having a jumper pipe terminating at opposite ends in male end fittings which are received one in each of the female end fittings. Each mating pair of male and female fittings is received in a pivot housing which is mounted for universal articulation on the female fitting for enabling the housing to be angularly aligned with the end of the male fitting which is received in the female fitting.

Remotely-operable ball joint connector

Flexible fluid couplings incorporating spherical seats which permit the interconnected pipe section to move axially and/or articulate relative to each other. O-ring seals in the coupling are protected against pressure induced extrusion. The center of articulation is located in a plane which passes close to the O-ring seals.

Spherical seat flexible O-ring coupling

A threaded coupling assembly is provided for joining a pair of confronting conduit members and minimizing electrostatic charge buildup between the conduit members. Each conduit member has an annular flange fixed to the confronting ends thereof. A threaded coupling interconnects the two flanges and includes, in one embodiment, a coupler having an internal annular groove for releasably holding a first annular bonding jumper and an externally threaded outer end. A nut is threaded onto the coupler and has an internal annular bonding jumper retaining groove for a second annular bonding jumper. These bonding jumpers include an annular ring having a plurality of bonding jumper contact flanges at the inner edge which engage the surface of the flanges and made electrical contact therewith and have at least a plurality of spaced retaining tangs at the outer edge which snap into the retaining grooves in the coupler and the nut. In addition, the bonding jumper retained by the nut also includes a plurality of circumferentially spaced coupler contact tangs which are interspersed with the retaining tangs and contact the outer end of the coupler beyond the threads. In a second embodiment, a spacer coupling is provided between the conduit flanges which is threaded at both ends and receives a nut on each end containing a bonding jumper as described above.

A fluid-receiving assembly having a pair of relatively axially displaceable structures, a torsionally deflectable seal ring for establishing a seal between the structures, and a pair of formations engaging diagonally opposite corner edges of the seal ring to torsionally deflect it to its seal establishing condition, one of the formations being formed on one of the structures and the other of the formations being formed in part by the other structure and in part by an adapter ring.

A fluid-conveying coupling assembly in which a pair of torsionally deflectable seal rings establish a redundant seal between interconnected coupling structures and in which the seal rings are oriented and deflected in such a manner that they impose non-cumulative radially directed forces on the interconnected structures.

Dual opposed seal ring coupling

A table top hockey game having twelve playing elements supported on a playing surface and manipulated through control rods mounted beneath the playing surface. The control rods are operative to rotate the playing elements through a shaft that extends through a slot in the playing surface. The playing surface includes twelve parallel slots, four of which are disposed between one of the goals and a side edge of the playing surface. A ball bearing, mounted on the shaft, is engageable with the slot sides to reduce the effort in moving the playing elements, and to maintain the playing element in a vertical position.
