Flooring material comprising board shaped floor elements with a rectangular oblong shape, which are provided with edges, a lower side and a decorative upper surface. The flooring material further includes joining profiles separate from the basic material of the floor elements. The floor elements may become fixed adjacent to each other, wherein the fixation is effective both horizontally and vertically. The vertical fixation is obtained through at least one of the joining profiles, which is not involved in the horizontal fixation.

Flooring material comprising flooring elements which are assembled by means of separate flooring elements

A building panel, such as a flooring panel or wall panel and a method of assembling the same into a floor, wall cladding, etc. The panel is provided with a locking means in the form of groove () and tongue () forming a tongue/groove joint for assembling of the panels. In a preferred embodiment, the groove () and the tongue () are made of water resistant material and fanned with a snap-together joint.

Flooring panel or wall panel and use thereof

A building panel, such as a flooring panel or wall panel and a method of assembling the same into a floor, wall cladding, etc. The panel is provided with a locking means in the form of groove () and tongue () forming a tongue/groove joint for assembling of the panels. In a preferred embodiment, the groove () and the tongue () are made of water resistant material and formed with a snap-together joint.

Method for forming a floor

The floor boards () are provided with edges (), a horizontal lower side () and a horizontal decorative upper surface (). The floor boards () are provided lower joining lips () at two adjacent edges () while the two remaining edges () are provided with upper joining lips (). The lower joining lips () are provided essentially vertical lower lip surfaces) arranged parallel to the closest edge (). The lower surfaces () are intended to interact with mainly vertical upper lip surfaces () arranged on the upper joining lips (). Two joined adjacent floor boards () are hereby locked together in a horizontal direction. The joining lips (andrespectively) are furthermore provided with one or more heels () intended to snap join with recesses () adapted thereto which, by being provided with essentially horizontal locking surfaces, limits vertical movement between two joined adjacent floor boards ().
