The present disclosure relates to an enclosure for an electric device in a high voltage electric field, the enclosure including at least one top element and at least one corresponding bottom element extending circumferentially from a center portion, wherein the top and the bottom elements are plate-like elements disposed substantially parallel to each other at a predetermined distance to provide a space therebetween. The top and bottom elements are each electrically connected at one end at the center portion, and in electrical contact at respective circumferential ends to form at least a portion of the enclosure. The enclosure is at least partially constructed of a conductive material. At least two slots are provided in the enclosure extending from the center portion to a circumference to separate different portions of the enclosure.

Enclosure

An electromagnetic device comprising a magnetic field-generating electric circuit comprising at least one winding, and a system configured to monitor a condition of the electromagnetic device and/or to control the electromagnetic device. The condition-monitoring and/or control system comprises at least one first device comprising a transmitter/transceiver, and at least one second device comprising a receiver/transceiver, whereby the at least one first device is configured to wirelessly transmit at least one signal to the at least one second device. The at least one first device is configured to transmit the at least one signal at a frequency that corresponds to a resonance frequency of the at least one winding of the electromagnetic device, whereby the electromagnetic device is thereby configured to be used as a passive repeater for the at least one signal that is transmitted.

The present disclosure relates to a cable for a high voltage winding of an electromagnetic induction device. The cable includes a conductor having a width w, and a shield arranged around at least a portion of the conductor, wherein in any cross-section of the conductor the conductor has rounded corners with a radius r in the range w/5&#x3c;r&#x2264;w/3. A high voltage electromagnetic induction device having a cable forming a high voltage winding is also disclosed.
