A device for a motor driven tool such as a pole hedge trimmer, a pole saw or the like. The tool includes a drive unit that via a shaft tube is connected to a cutting unit. The cutting unit is turnably secured at the shaft tube by the device which is a turnable connection, wherein the cutting unit is movable between a range of at least two working positions and a transport position. The cutting unit is provided with one or several movable cutting elements and the tool is provided with locking structure for locking the movement of the cutting elements when the cutting unit is in the transport position.

A motor driven tool such as a pole hedge trimmer, a pole saw or the like includes a drive unit () that via a shaft tube () enclosing a drive shaft and being provided with a handle (), is connected to a cutting unit () which is turnably secured to the shaft tube. The turnable connection is under the influence of a locking mechanism (L) which from the normal working position of the operator can be released by means of a control means (M) arranged at a distance from the locking mechanism (L) and close to the handle ().

Energy storing starter assembles include a hub, a pulley, and a torsion spring adapted to resiliently link the hub to the pulley. The torsion spring includes a first end portion adapted to be linked to the hub and a second end portion adapted to be linked to the pulley. The torsion spring further includes at least one resilient member with a first section including a first winding and a second section including a second winding.

A carburetor control for a carburetor of an internal combustion engine is provided, in particular for a motor saw, in which the carburetor has a gas throttle (16) and a starting means (25) such as a choke valve. A gas control (11) is connected to the gas throttle, and a start control (20) is connected to the starting means and adjustable between a starting position and an operating position. The gas control (11) has a first stop (26) adapted to engage a corresponding stop (27) on the start control (20) in order to positively adjust the starting means (25) to the operating position, when the gas throttle (16) is opened.
