A method and apparatus for facilitating user enrollment by a secure server of a trusted source includes receiving, from a user device, personal identifiable information (PII) of the user. The aspects include securely storing the PII. The aspects include receiving, from a requesting authority that is attempting to enroll the user, an identifier of the user and a request for an attestation of a fact attributable to the user that is evaluated for enrollment. The aspects include comparing the identifier of the user and the fact attributable to the user to the PII to find a match. The aspects include minimizing a sharing of the PII user with the requesting authority by confirming, to the requesting authority, the attestation of the fact attributable to the user together with the identifier of the user in place of at least some of the PII, responsive to a comparison result indicating the match.

Disclosed herein are apparatuses and methods for providing personalized and contextualized environment security information. An implementation may comprise collecting a plurality of sensor data from a plurality of sensors located in an environment, detecting a security event in the environment based on at least a portion of the plurality of sensor data, and generating contextual information for the security event based on at least a larger portion of the plurality of sensor data. The implementation may further comprise detecting a first user accessing security information for the environment on an output device, retrieving a user profile of the first user, and generating a remediation conversation based on the user profile, the security event, and the contextual information. A method of access control includes receiving an access request transaction from one of a first identity sensor. Current confidence information is determined for the access request transaction. Prior confidence information is determined for at least one prior access request transaction associated with the user from at least one second identity sensor. A total confidence score value is generated based on a confidence function applied to the current confidence information and the prior confidence information. The total confidence score value is compared with a confidence threshold value for the secure resource associated with the access request transaction. Access to the secure resource is granted, in response to determining that the total confidence score value meets the confidence threshold value. The access to the secure resource is denied, in response to determining that the total confidence score value does not meet the confidence threshold value.

Disclosed herein are apparatuses and methods for providing evacuation guidance. An implementation may determine a last known location of a person in an environment under evacuation. An implementation may calculate, for the person, an exit time for evacuating the environment based on an amount of time needed by the person to exit the environment starting from the last known location. An implementation may monitor whether the person has evacuated the environment. An implementation may determine whether a current time has passed the exit time. An implementation may transmit an alert to a device of the person in response to determining that the current time has passed the exit time and that the person has not evacuated the environment.

A method for recording mail screening process includes receiving, by a processor of a recording device, a first image of a mail item placed into an inspection zone of a mail screening device from a first image sensor of the mail screening device. The first image of the mail item and the video stream of the mail item are analyzed by the recording device to determine if the mail item contains a security threat. Disclosed herein are apparatuses and methods for tracking chain of custody of a security camera using blockchain. An implementation may comprise receiving and granting a request for custody of a security camera by a first operator. The implementation further includes generating a block of a blockchain comprising identifiers of the first operator, security camera, and timestamp. The implementation includes distributing the blockchain to a plurality of nodes in a blockchain network. For each indication received of activity associated with usage and custody of the security camera to be recorded on the blockchain, the implementation includes generating a new block on the blockchain recording the activity. The implementation further includes receiving and verifying an authenticity a video clip from the security camera based on each activity recorded in the blockchain. In response to determining that the video clip is not authentic, the implementation includes generating an alert indicating inauthenticity.

Disclosed herein are apparatuses and methods for providing evacuation guidance. An implementation may comprise identifying a person physically present in an environment requiring an evacuation. The implementation further includes detecting, using at least one sensor in the environment, a last known location of the person. The implementation further includes calculating an exit time for evacuating the environment based on the last known location. The implementation further includes monitoring, using at least one sensor located at an egress point of the environment, whether the person has evacuated the environment. The implementation further includes determining whether a current time has passed the exit time. The implementation further includes transmitting an alert to a device of the respective person in response to determining that the current time has passed the exit time and that the person has not evacuated the environment.

A wearable telecommunications device enabling a user to engage in teleconferencing activity from nontraditional locations, while allowing the user free use of his hands. The wearable telecommunications device houses a plurality of input and output devices removably attached to the body of the wearable device. The input and output devices generally include one or more cameras, motion sensors, at least one microphone, and at least one power source. The housing generally consists of wearable headgear such as a helmet.
