A method of displaying surveillance video streams is provided that includes receiving surveillance video streams generated by a plurality of video cameras, and displaying a selected subset of the surveillance video streams in a summary view on at least one display device, wherein, for each surveillance video stream in the summary view, only a relevant portion of each frame in the surveillance video stream is displayed, and wherein a relevant portion is a subset of a frame for at least some of the surveillance video streams in the summary view.

The vehicular synchronization system includes a synchronization control unit having a data receiving module, a trigger time determination module, a timer module, and a sensor trigger module. The data receiving module receives a data packet from the light sensor. The trigger time determination module determines a trigger time when a desired light sensor orientation overlaps with the image sensor field of view. The timer module sets a timer to elapse at the trigger time. The sensor trigger module controls the image sensor to capture image data at the trigger time when the timer elapses.

An apparatus and method are provided to determine the occurrence and location of an interaction with an interface, particularly with an image of a user interface that may be projected or otherwise produced on a surface. The apparatus uses one or more single-element sensors (such as a photodiode) to sense and capture light readings of a scene, the readings corresponding to a plurality of structured light images injected within the presentation of the interface. The readings are compared to a baseline set of readings to determine the occurrence and location of an interaction event by an obstacle (i.e., a finger or a stylus) such as a touch event or a movement of the obstacle.

Concurrently with copying the second packed node from the system memory into the DMA memory, the first packed node is evaluated in the DMA memory. In response to evaluating the first packed node, the second packed node is evaluated in the DMA memory without waiting for additional copying of the second packed node from the system memory into the DMA memory.
