A filter element () that is to be mounted in a housing () has at least one substantially hollow cylindrical filter bellows () designed to separate liquid from aerosol, and two cover elements () designed to cover axial end regions () of the filter bellows (). The axial end portions () of the at least one filter bellows () are pressed against the cover element () by an axial compressing force. The at least one filter bellows () is secured in the axial direction, and one respective sealing zone () is formed between each filter () and each cover element ().

Filter element and method for manufacturing a filter element

A flange for a filter insert for separating oil aerosol from air has a flange region with radial contact surface for supporting the flange; an axial first wall region adjoining radially inwardly the flange region; a radial cover region adjoining an end of the first wall region opposite the flange region; a second axial wall region adjoining radially inwardly the cover region and surrounding a central cutout. Radial lifting regions adjoin an end of the second wall region opposite the cover region and extend into the central cutout. First and second wall regions and cover region are concentric to each other. The lifting regions are arranged exclusively in a radially outer region of the central cutout. A coaxial imaginary circle with outer circumference defined by radially innermost points of the lifting regions has a radius of at least three fourths of a radius of the second wall region.

Flange, filter insert, device for separating oil aerosol from air, and method for producing a filter insert

A filter element () that is to be mounted in a housing () has at least one substantially hollow cylindrical pleated filter () designed to separate liquid from aerosol, and two cover elements () designed to cover axial end regions () of the pleated filter (). The axial end portions () of the at least one pleated filter () are pressed against the cover element () by an axial compressing force. The at least one pleated filter () is secured in the axial direction, and one respective sealing zone () is formed between each pleated filter () and each cover element ().

A separation element for a pressure accumulator system for separating liquid from a media stream is provided with a hollow cylindrical filter body. The filter body has a support body and a coalescing stage filter medium radially outwardly of the support body. The filter body is flowed through radially by the media stream and separates a dirty side from a clean side of the separation element. First and second end disks are disposed on opposite sides of the filter body. A receiving recess is arranged centrally on the first end disk and is open toward the filter body interior. The receiving recess supports the separation element on a central tube of the pressure accumulator system. The second end disk has an outlet opening. Liquid that has been separated by the filter body from the media stream drains via the outlet opening of the second end disk from the separation element.

Separation element and pressure accumulator system

A filter insert for installation in a housing, having at least one substantially hollow cylindrical filter element for separating liquid from aerosol; and at least one covering element designed to cover an axial end region of the filter element; wherein at least one of the the at least one covering element is formed from at least one metal sheet and connected with the filter element with at least one mechanical connection; wherein the mechanical connection between the at least one covering element and the filter element is formed solely by a structure of the at least one covering element produced through deforming or reforming the at least one covering element; wherein the structure of the at least one covering element is configured to clamp the filter element to the at least one covering element.
