A medical image diagnosis apparatus according to an embodiment includes obtaining circuitry, detecting circuitry, deriving circuitry, and controlling circuitry. The obtaining circuitry is configured to obtain image data of a patient. The detecting circuitry is configured to detect each of a plurality of sites of the patient from the image data. The deriving circuitry is configured to derive information about a structuring member in the patient, on the basis of a detection result obtained by the detecting circuitry. The controlling circuitry is configured to determine an injection condition for a contrast agent to be administered to the patient for a contrast-enhanced scan, on the basis of the information about the structuring member.

Medical image diagnosis apparatus and management apparatus

A medical image diagnosis apparatus according to an embodiment includes setting circuitry and image generating circuitry. The setting circuitry is configured to obtain position information with respect to a landmark of a patient in a first image generated by performing a first scan on the patient and to set a scan range to be used during a second scan by using the obtained position information, the position information being determined on a basis of the first image and expressed in an image taking system used during the first scan. The image generating circuitry is configured to generate a second image by performing the second scan on the scan range.

A medical image capturing apparatus according to an embodiment includes image generation circuitry, detection circuitry, diagnosis support processing circuitry, setting circuitry, and imaging control circuitry. The image generation circuitry generates image data of a subject. The detection circuitry detects each of a plurality of parts of the subject in the image data generated as a positioning image. The diagnosis support processing circuitry executes diagnosis support processing corresponding to a predetermined part with regard to a region corresponding to the predetermined part of the subject detected. The setting circuitry sets an imaging condition of main imaging with respect to a part in which a lesion site is specified as a processing result of the diagnosis support processing. The imaging control circuitry controls an imaging mechanism to perform imaging with regard to an imaging region including the part in which the lesion site is specified based on the imaging condition.

Medical image capturing apparatus and method

Techniques are provided that enable displaying of medical images that depict cyclic motions in the subject. An X-ray CT system scans, with X-rays, the subject whose targeted region is experiencing a cyclic motion and acquires detection data. This X-ray CT system comprises a reconstruction processor, a moving image creator, and a display controller. The reconstruction processor generates a plurality of sets of volumetric data based on a plurality of sets of detection data that have been acquired during one cycle of the cyclic motion. The moving-image creator creates a moving image that shows the cyclic motion, on the basis of at least a part of the plural sets of volumetric data. The display controller superposes the moving image over an image based on the volumetric data and displays these images on the display unit.

X-ray CT system, image display device, and image display method

In an X-ray CT device according to an embodiment, reconstruction circuitry reconstructs a positioning image from projection data collected based on a detection signal of transmitted X-rays in positioning imaging performed at a first tube current. Circuitry detects body parts of a subject included in the positioning image. Storage stores information pieces relating to body parts, image quality levels for each of the information pieces relating to the body parts, and an X-ray count value corresponding to each of the image quality levels in an associated manner. The circuitry selects an image quality level corresponding to a desired body part. The circuitry acquires a second tube current based on the first tube current, an X-ray count value in the positioning imaging, and an X-ray count value associated with the selected image quality level. The circuitry controls an X-ray tube to perform main imaging based on the second tube current.

X-ray CT device and medical information management device

A medical image diagnostic apparatus according to an embodiment includes memory circuitry and processing circuitry. The memory circuitry stores therein a plurality of anatomical landmarks in a subject in association with a plurality of groups. The processing circuitry generates three-dimensional image data of the subject. The processing circuitry selects at least one group among the groups based on set examination information and a type of scan to be performed, and detects a site of the subject corresponding to at least one group, based on anatomical landmarks corresponding to a selected group. The processing circuitry controls to output information indicating a detected site.

Medical image diagnostic apparatus

An image processing system is provided, including an accepting unit, an acquisition unit, a measuring unit, and an output unit. The accepting unit accepts the setting of two coordinates in a stereoscopic image of a subject displayed on a stereoscopic image display device. The acquisition unit acquires volume data coordinates that are coordinates corresponding to stereoscopic image coordinates indicating the accepted coordinates. The measuring unit executes a measuring process of measuring the distance between the two coordinates accepted by the accepting unit, based on the volume data coordinates acquired by the acquisition unit. The setting part is used for setting an insertion route of a puncture needle for a subject onto an image based on volume data. The creating part creates a graphic schematically indicating the volume data. The display controller displays the graphic on a display, and displays a route image corresponding to the insertion route.

Medical apparatus and X-ray CT system

An imaging condition setting unit sets imaging conditions for a pre-contrast enhancement scan, a monitoring scan, and a post-contrast enhancement scan. A ROI setting unit sets a region of interest for the monitoring scan in a reference image generated by a reference image scan executed before the pre-contrast enhancement scan, the monitoring scan, and the post-contrast enhancement scan. The scan control unit controls an X-ray generation unit and an X-ray detection unit to sequentially execute, based on the imaging conditions, the pre-contrast enhancement scan, the monitoring scan, and the post-contrast enhancement scan.

X-ray computed tomography imaging apparatus

In an X-ray computed-tomography apparatus of an embodiment, a reconstruction processing unit reconstructs image data based on projection data that is generated from output of an X-ray detector. A specifying unit specifies a scan position or a scan range for main scanning. A changing unit identifies characteristic points based on a structure inside the subject from image data, and changes the scan position or the scan range specified by the specifying unit based on a result of checking data relating to the characteristic points and data relating to corresponding anatomical characteristic points in a virtual subject against each other.

X-ray computed-tomography apparatus and imaging-condition-setting support apparatus

An X-ray CT system is provided to achieve simplification and time-saving in the work of setting the subject in scanning position. An X-ray CT system as an embodiment comprises a patient table, a gantry apparatus, a formation unit, a drive unit, a storage unit, and a drive controller. The patient table has a top plate, on which the subject is placed. The gantry apparatus executes scanning on the subject by rotating a detector unit, which includes an X-ray tube and an X-ray detector set facing each other. The formation unit forms image data of the subject based on the data acquired by the scanning. The drive unit changes the relative position between the top plate and the detector unit. The storage unit stores relative position information that indicates the relative position applied for the scanning. When a new scanning session is to be performed, the drive controller controls the drive unit to set the top plate and the detector unit at the relative position indicated by the stored relative position information.

X-ray CT system

An X-ray CT apparatus, which is capable of quickly acquiring information for determining whether further CT imaging is required, is provided. The X-ray CT apparatus according to the embodiment comprises a reconstruction processor, a setting unit, and a controller. The reconstruction processor carries out first reconstruction processing to be carried out at a first image thickness based on detection data to be sequentially acquired by X-ray scanning of the desired site of a subject, and second reconstruction processing to be carried out at a second image thickness based on all detection data acquired by the X-ray scanning. The setting unit sets the first image thickness based on the second image thickness set in advance. The controller allows the reconstruction processor to initiate the first reconstruction processing in parallel with the X-ray scanning at the set first image thickness and initiate the second reconstruction processing at the second image thickness once the first reconstruction processing is completed.

X-ray CT apparatus

According to one embodiment, an image processing system includes a stereoscopic display device and an image processing apparatus. The stereoscopic display device is configured to enable a stereoscopic image constituted by using a predetermined parallax number of parallax images to be stereoscopically viewed. The image processing apparatus comprises a rendering processor configured to apply rendering processing to volume data serving as three-dimensional medical image data, a rendering processing controller configured to control the rendering processor so as to generate from the volume data a parallax image group composed of the predetermined parallax number or more of parallax images, and a storage controller configured to store in a memory the parallax image group generated by the rendering processor. The stereoscopic display device is configured to display the stereoscopic image constituted by selecting the predetermined parallax number of parallax images out of the parallax image group stored in the memory.
