A clutch control device includes an engine, a gearbox, a clutch device configured to disconnect and connect power transmission between the engine and the gearbox, a clutch actuator configured to drive the clutch device and vary a clutch capacity, an engine rotational number sensor configured to detect an engine rotational number, a throttle opening angle sensor configured to detect a throttle opening angle, and a controller configured to calculate a control target value of the clutch capacity, wherein the controller calculates an estimated engine torque and causes the clutch device to change a slip clutch capacity according to the estimated engine torque.

A V-belt continuously variable transmission in which an actuator unit for driving a movable sheave is slidably supported by a transmission case that is formed by fastening a plurality of case members with a plurality of fastening members, for ensuring a sufficient space for slidably moving the actuator unit and enhancing workability of mounting and dismounting operation of the actuator unit. A flat mounting surface for mounting the actuator unit is formed on an outer surface of the transmission case. Also, a recessed portion recessed inwardly of the transmission case from the mounting surface is formed to have at an inner end thereof a fastening seat face for a specific fastening member out of the plurality of fastening members, the specific fastening member being disposed at a portion corresponding to the mounting surface. The whole specific fastening member is disposed inwardly of the transmission case relative to the mounting surface.

V-belt continuously variable transmission

A centrifugal clutch includes a clutch weight in a plane perpendicular to a rotation axis of an input member for enabling friction fitting to an inside of a clutch housing. The clutch weight is turnably supported by a drive plate. A grooved portion is provided on a clutch weight in a position that is opposite to a drive plate. At least one end of grooved portion is closed and is formed in a turning direction of the clutch. A damping rubber supported by the drive plate abuts against an inside face of the grooved portion. The damping rubber is held in the grooved portion in a compressed state by being compressed between the drive plate and the clutch weight. The centrifugal clutch so configured effectively inhibits vibration of a clutch weight when the clutch is let in, and minimizes both the parts required and man-hours for assembly.

An automatic transmission control device for a vehicle includes a gear change operation that is performed based on a throttle opening, a vehicle speed and an engine rotational speed. The automatic transmission control device also obtains a displacement of the throttle opening, determines whether the displacement falls within a predetermined range, and restricts a shift-up when the displacement exceeds the predetermined range.
