To provide a process for producing an acrylic rubber/fluorinated rubber composition, capable of forming a layer excellent in the interlayer-adhesion with a layer formed by crosslinking a fluorinated rubber. A process for producing an acrylic rubber/fluorinated rubber composition having particles of a crosslinked acrylic rubber (B) dispersed in a continuous phase of a fluorinated rubber (A), which comprises kneading a fluorinated rubber (A), a crosslinking agent for an acrylic rubber and a crosslinking coagent for an acrylic rubber to obtain a fluorinated rubber composition containing the crosslinking agent for an acrylic rubber and the crosslinking coagent for an acrylic rubber, and kneading under heating the obtained fluorinated rubber composition and an acrylic rubber (B) in a mass ratio of fluorinated rubber (A)/acrylic rubber (B)=5/95 to 50/50 to crosslink the acrylic rubber (B), and dispersing particles of the crosslinked acrylic rubber (B) in a continuous phase of the fluorinated rubber (A).

To provide a fluorinated elastomer composition which is excellent in flexibility and oil resistance to lubricant oil such as automatic transmission oil, is less susceptible to heat discoloration and is excellent also in moldability, and a molded product, cross-linked product and covered electric wire, using such a fluorinated elastomer composition. Fluorinated elastomer composition and method for its production, molded product, cross-linked product, and covered electric wire

To provide a fluorinated elastic copolymer which is excellent in crosslinking reactivity and extrusion moldability and which is curable to obtain a rubber excellent in permanent compression set resistance, base resistance and oil resistance and particularly suitable as a covering material for electric wires. A fluorinated elastic copolymer obtained by copolymerizing tetrafluoroethylene, propylene and optionally another monomer, wherein the molar ratio (a)/(b) of repeating units (a) derived from tetrafluoroethylene to repeating units (b) derived from propylene in the fluorinated elastic copolymer is from 60/40 to 75/25, and repeating units (c) derived from said another monomer is from 0 to 10 mol % in the fluorinated elastic copolymer.
