A method performed by an information terminal is provided. Profile information of an electrical device connected to a storage battery pack is received from the storage battery pack. The profile information includes device identification information of the electrical device and an item of state information indicating a state of the electrical device. A value of the item of state information of the electrical device is received from the storage battery pack. When a first instruction that causes the item of state information and the value of the item of state information to be displayed is received, a first display screen is displayed on the display of the information terminal. The first display screen depicts the item of state information and the value of the item of state information by using the received profile information and the received value of the item of state information.

A storage battery pack includes: a secondary battery; a connector that is detachably connected to electrical devices that operate with power of the secondary battery; a storage that stores different profile information for each of the electrical devices, the profile information including device identification information identifying the electrical devices and item of state information indicating state of the electrical device; a first communicator that receives, from an electrical device connected to the connector, the device identification information and value of the item of state information of the electrical device; a specifier that specifies the profile information corresponding to the electrical device connected to the connection device by using the device identification information of the electrical device connected to the connector; and a second communicator that transmits, to an external information device, the profile information specified by the specifying device and the value of the item of state information of the electrical device connected to the connector.

In a method, when a first information terminal, which is provided with a wireless communication device capable of communicating with a first wireless communication device provided in a storage battery pack and which retains first identification information indicating a user of the storage battery pack, comes into close proximity with the first wireless communication device (S), the first information terminal is registered in registration information as a first type of information terminal capable of altering the registration information, the registration information being stored in a storage device provided inside or outside of the storage battery pack, and being of information terminals capable of acquiring information relating to the storage battery pack stored in the storage device (S).

A battery pack has a communicator storing various communication protocols. When new hardware is connected thereto, the battery pack sequentially transmits a respective communication request signal to request communication with the hardware using a stored communication protocol, and establishes communication. The battery pack transmits the communication request signal using a standard such as a compatibility priority among communication protocols, a frequency priority for communication protocols used according to a history record, a communication speed priority for communication protocols, and so on, thereby achieving quick establishment of communication.
