An autonomous vehicle control device configured to determine a control input for causing an automatic driving to travel along a target trajectory determined based on an estimated current location of the vehicle by repeatedly performing a predetermined calculation, wherein the controller estimates the current location by correcting the location of the vehicle on the map data based on the relative location of the vehicle on the traveling road, and adjusts a predetermined parameter in the predetermined calculation in accordance with the amount of correction so that the number of repeated calculations is reduced when it is determined that the estimation of the current location is not accurate based on the amount of correction of the location at that time.

Control device for autonomous vehicle

The steering device is configured to automatically perform a steering operation of a steering wheel. The steering device is configured to determine that the steering operation of the steering wheel has been performed by the driver based on the steering angle of the steering wheel and the target steering angle, at least during a driving mode in which the steering operation of the steering wheel is automatically performed, and when it is determined that the steering operation of the steering wheel has been performed by the driver, change the operation characteristics of the steering wheel so that the steering force required when the driver steers the steering wheel is reduced compared to before the determination.

Steering device

A vehicle travel control device executes trajectory following control to make the vehicle follow a target trajectory. A delay time represents control delay of the trajectory following control. A delay compensation time is at least a part of the delay time. The trajectory following control includes: displacement estimation processing that estimates a displacement of the vehicle in the delay compensation time; and delay compensation processing that corrects a deviation between the vehicle and the target trajectory based on the estimated displacement to compensate the control delay. The displacement estimation processing is effective in an effective period and ineffective in an ineffective period. When the ineffective period is included in the delay time of the trajectory following control, the displacement estimation processing is executed in a temporary mode by using sensor-detected information in the effective period without using the sensor-detected information in the ineffective period.

Vehicle travel control device

An autonomous driving system includes an electronic control unit configured to generate, based on a target route, a target path in a predetermined coordinate system and a speed plan specifying a passage time at a control point on the target path, and rebuild, based on an actual speed of a vehicle, the speed plan when an operation intervention is performed during autonomous driving performed by autonomous driving control for causing the vehicle to travel along the target path according to the speed plan, the operation intervention changing a braking force acting on the vehicle, and perform the autonomous driving control by using an actuator mounted on the vehicle.

A vehicular behavior control apparatus in which a control unit that controls a driving device and a braking device is configured to calculate a target yaw moment and a target deceleration of the vehicle for ensuring stable behavior of the vehicle during non-braking turning, to calculate a first vehicle longitudinal force applied to a turning inner wheel to achieve the target yaw moment and a second vehicle longitudinal force necessary to achieve the target deceleration, to control, when the first vehicle longitudinal force is equal to or less than the second vehicle longitudinal force, the driving device so as to generate a driving force equal to a value obtained by subtracting the second vehicle longitudinal force from a driver-requested driving force and adding the first vehicle longitudinal force, and to apply the first vehicle longitudinal force to the turning inner wheel.

Vehicular behavior control apparatus

A vehicle control system installed on a vehicle executes turning control that controls a turning device configured to turn a wheel of the vehicle. The turning control includes: first turning control that generates a target trajectory and makes the vehicle follow the target trajectory; and second turning control that is executed independently of the first turning control without depending on the target trajectory. When the first turning control and the second turning control are executed simultaneously, the vehicle control system determines whether the first turning control counteracts turning by the second turning control. When the first turning control counteracts the turning by the second turning control, the vehicle control system replans the target trajectory by designating at least one of a current position and a current yaw angle of the vehicle as a starting point of the target trajectory.

A vehicle travel control device includes: an EPS device turning a wheel of a vehicle; and a control device performing autonomous driving control that controls autonomous driving of the vehicle. The autonomous driving control includes: calculating a target steering angle of the wheel; and actuating the EPS device to turn the wheel such that a steering angle of the wheel becomes the target steering angle. Calculating the target steering angle includes: calculating an autonomous driving steering angle and a target state quantity required for automatic steering in the autonomous driving; calculating a counter steering angle required for vehicle stabilization control, based on the target state quantity without using a steering wheel angle; and calculating a sum of the autonomous driving steering angle and the counter steering angle as the target steering angle.

Vehicle travel control device and autonomous driving control method

A vehicle control apparatus which performs a travel control of a vehicle during a traffic jam, includes a wheel setting unit configured to set at least one wheel to be a brake wheel to be applied with a braking force during the travel control and at least one wheel to be a non-brake wheel not to be applied with the braking force during the travel control, and a control unit configured to perform the travel control of the vehicle based on a rotation amount of the at least one brake wheel and a rotation amount of the at least one non-brake wheel detected by a wheel speed sensor detecting the rotation amount of a wheel of the vehicle.

Provided is a travel trajectory control device for a vehicle which executes a vehicle travel trajectory control by calculating a target steering angle corresponding to a target steered angle of the front wheels for making a vehicle travel to track a target trajectory, and controlling the steered angle of the front wheels on the basis of the target steered angle with a steered angle varying device and a power steering device. The driving ability of a driver and/or a trajectory change intent thereof are determined. On the basis of a driving ability index value and/or an index value which denotes the intensity of the trajectory change intent of the driver, the tracking of the vehicle to the target trajectory is variably set by variably setting the gain in the travel trajectory control.

Travel trajectory control device for a vehicle

A vehicle control apparatus which performs a parking control of a vehicle, includes a wheel setting unit configured to set at least one brake wheel which is a wheel to which a braking force is applied during the parking control and at least one non-brake wheel which is a wheel to which the braking force is not applied during the parking control, and a control unit configured to perform the parking control of the vehicle based on a rotation amount of at least one brake wheel and a rotation amount of at least one non-brake wheel detected by a wheel speed sensor detecting the rotation amount of a wheel of the vehicle.
