A sensor () includes a temperature sensitive element (); a first tubular member (); a tubular rib (); a second tubular member (); and a tubular mounting member () that surrounds the rib through the second tubular member, is rotatable with respect to the rib, and has a threaded portion (). The rib includes a main body () and a protruding portion (). A flat portion (L) is formed on a rearward-facing surface of the protruding portion, and an inclined surface () is formed radially outward of the flat portion. A forward-facing surface () of the mounting member is in line contact with the inclined surface at a prescribed contact position (P), and an intersection (R) of the inclined surface and a perpendicular (M) thereto from a radially innermost point (Q) of a forward-facing surface () of the protruding portion is located radially inward of the contact position.

Sensor and sensor mounting structure

A temperature sensor having a weld zone between an element electrode wire and a sheath core wire. When a section of the weld zone is taken orthogonally to the axial direction and in such a manner as to pass through a center point, L/D is greater or equal to 0.6, wherein D represents the diameter of the element electrode wire, and L represents the length of a chord connecting a first weld point and a second weld point as defined herein.

Temperature sensor

A temperature sensor including a temperature sensing element () having a temperature sensing unit () and a pair of device electrode wires () extending from the temperature sensing unit; a sheath member () including a sheath wire () connected at a junction () to one of the device electrode wires and a sheath outer pipe () retaining the sheath wire in an insulating material (); an inner tube () which has a bottomed cylindrical shape, the inner tube accommodating the temperature sensing element and the junction in a bottom portion side of the inner tube serving as a leading end of the temperature sensor, and extending in an extension direction of the device electrode wire and the sheath wire; and an outer tube () which has a bottomed cylindrical shape including a gas inlet hole (), the outer tube covering the inner tube, and being spaced, from the inner tube on a leading end side of the junction when viewed in a direction perpendicular to an axial direction of the inner tube.

A temperature sensor including: a temperature sensing element () having a temperature sensing unit () and a pair of device electrode wires (); a sheath member () having a sheath wire () connected at a junction () to at least one of the device electrode wires and a sheath outer pipe () retaining the sheath wire in an insulating material (); an inner tube () which has a bottomed cylindrical shape; and a cylindrical outer tube () having an open end, covering the inner tube such that the open end is located at a front end side of the junction and in a region to the rear end side of or aligned with the front end of the inner tube, and being spaced from the inner tube at the front end side of the junction.

A temperature sensor includes: a temperature-sensing element comprising a temperature-sensing portion and an element electrode wire connected to the temperature-sensing portion; a sheath member comprising a sheath tube and a sheath core wire extending from the sheath tube, the sheath core wire being joined to the element electrode wire to form a joint portion; an enclosing member comprising a closed-bottomed tube having a bottom portion at one end, and enclosing at least the temperature-sensing element and the joint portion; and a holding material filling at least a portion of a space enclosed by the enclosing member extending between a front end face of the temperature-sensing portion and the bottom portion of the enclosing member. A temperature sensorincludes a metallic cover, a thermistor elementaccommodated in a front portionof the metallic cover, first and second conductive wiresandextending rearwards of the thermistor elementand transmitting a signal therefrom, a MI cablein which first and second core wiresandare positioned and having a front end thereof inserted into the metallic cover, and an insulating holdersituated between the thermistor elementand the front end of the MI cablein the metallic cover. Temperature sensor and method for producing the same

A temperature sensor comprising: a flange having a bore and mounted on a fluid pipe having a fluid flow, to prevent said fluid from leaking out; an MI cable formed to have metallic cores insulated and retained on a metallic outer cylinder, and fixed in such a mode in said bore that a leading end side of said MI cable protrudes from a leading end side of said flange and extends in an axial direction; a metallic cap fixed on a leading end side outer circumference of said MI cable and having fluid communication ports for allowing said fluid to flow therein; and a temperature sensing element including: a ceramic substrate housed in said cap; a sensing portion formed over said ceramic substrate and having electric characteristics varied with a temperature of said fluid; and a wiring portion for connecting said sensing portion and said metallic cores of said MI cable electrically.

Temperature sensor with quick response

A temperature sensor comprising: a housing; a thermo-sensitive element housed in the housing for outputting electric characteristics varying with a temperature, as an electric signal; and a pair of lead wires connected at their one-side ends with the thermo-sensitive element for extracting the electric signal from the thermo-sensitive element to an outside of the housing, wherein at least one of the lead wires is made of a mixed twisted wire including: first electric wires made of a first conductor containing copper; and second electric wires made of a second conductor having a higher bending resistance and a tensile strength than those of the first conductor.
