A device for controlling an automatic transmission including a first frictional engagement element that is engaged at a first gear shift stage and is released at a second gear shift stage, the device including a piston stroke return determination means for determining a released state of a piston that is actuated to press friction discs of the first frictional engagement element, and a gear shift start determination means for restricting execution of a gear shift from the second gear shift stage to the first gear shift stage until it is determined that the piston is in a predetermined released state after a gear shift from the first gear shift stage to the second gear shift stage is finished.

Device for controlling automatic transmission

Under a specified condition where a torque converter is kept in a lockup state to prolong the fuel-cutoff time, because of vehicle coasting with an accelerator opening APO=0, a downshift command is generated and then an automatic transmission causes a reengagement downshift by a drop in a release-side clutch hydraulic pressure Poff and a rise in an engagement-side clutch hydraulic pressure Pon. During the reengagement downshift, the engagement-side clutch hydraulic pressure Pon is reduced from a high lockup-ON hydraulic pressure to a low lockup-OFF hydraulic pressure after the time when the lockup is predicted to be released, thus preventing a torque drawing-in tendency of transmission output torque, which may occur at the time of the beginning of the inertia phase, from increasing, and also reducing in the width of a subsequent change in vehicle deceleration G, and consequently enhancing the shift quality.

Coasting downshift control device for automatic transmission

In a control apparatus for an automatic transmission, a gear shift from a second gear shift stage to a first gear shift stage is inhibited and the gear shift from the first gear shift stage to the second gear shift stage is continued, when, during the gear shift from the first gear shift stage to the second gear shift stage, a request of the gear shift from the second gear shift stage to the first gear shift stage by means of an automatic transmission section has occurred during a time duration from a time at which a gear shift command from the first gear shift stage to the second gear shift stage is issued to a time at which an inertia phase is started.

A method of manufacturing a ladder filter including first and second resonators includes: forming a piezoelectric film on an entire surface of a substrate that has respective lower electrodes of the first and second resonator formed thereon, an conductive film on the piezoelectric film, and a second film on the conductive film; forming a pattern of the second film in a prescribed region in the second area; forming a first film on an entire surface of the substrate; etching the first film, forming a pattern of the first film, the second film and the conductive film in the second area, and forming a pattern of the first film and the conductive film in the first area, to form respective upper electrodes from the conductor film; and thereafter, etching the piezoelectric film to form respective patterns of the piezoelectric film in the first and second areas, respectively.

A control system for controlling an automatic transmission that is capable of establishing a given speed stage by engaging a given frictional element. The control system comprises an actual time lag measuring section that measures an actual time lag from the time when a speed change instruction for the given speed stage is issued to the time when a gear ratio of the automatic transmission starts to change for the purpose of establishing the given speed stage, a torque detecting section that detects a torque from an engine, a time lag map that provides a suitable time lag in accordance with the detected torque from the engine, a learning correction section that corrects, by learning control, an instruction value for the hydraulic pressure led to the frictional element in a manner to cause the actual time lag to have the same value as the suitable time lag; and a time lag map correcting section that corrects the suitable time lag in accordance with an operation condition of an associated motor vehicle.

A piezoelectric thin-film resonator includes: a lower electrode that is formed on a substrate; a piezoelectric film that is formed on the substrate and the lower electrode; an upper electrode that is formed on the piezoelectric film, with a portion of the piezoelectric film being interposed between the lower electrode and the upper electrode facing each other; and an additional film that is formed on the substrate on at least a part of the outer periphery of the lower electrode at the portion at which the lower electrode and the upper electrode face each other, with the additional film being laid along the lower electrode.

A duplexer includes an antenna terminal, a first filter connected to the antenna terminal, and a second filter connected to the antenna terminal. At least one of the first filter and the second filter is a ladder type filter in which a parallel resonator and multiple series resonators are included, one or more first inductors are respectively connected in parallel with one or more series resonators out of the multiple series resonators, and one of the one or more first inductors is connected in parallel with one of the multiple series resonators that is arranged closest to the antenna terminal.
