A track system includes a track member with an elongate shaft mounted thereto. At least one support mechanism is mounted to the track member. The at least one support mechanism includes a housing. An engagement feature includes first and second engagement members spaced-apart from one another to define a receiving area therebetween. The first and second engagement members are operable between deployed and retracted positions relative to the housing. The elongate shaft is received in the receiving area when the first and second engagement members are in the deployed position.

Support mechanism for a track system

A vehicle track assembly includes a conductive rail coupled to the track assembly. The conductive rail includes an electrically insulative substrate and one or more conductive strips attached to the substrate. The vehicle track assembly further includes a track-mounted component electrically coupled to the conductive rail. The track-mounted component includes a cantilevered biasing member and one or more electrical contacts. The cantilevered biasing member biases the one or more electrical contacts toward the one or more conductive strips to maintain an electrical connection between the one or more electrical contacts and the one or more conductive strips as the track-mounted component is moved along the conductive rail.

Track assembly with electrical connection system

A rail assembly includes a track assembly defining an interior channel, a shuttle assembly received within the interior channel, and a carriage assembly coupled to the track assembly. The shuttle assembly includes a lock assembly. The carriage assembly includes a trigger assembly. The trigger assembly includes a trigger cam and an actuator cam coupled to the trigger cam. The actuator cam actuates the carriage assembly between locked and unlocked configurations relative to the track assembly.

Rail assembly for a vehicle

A motor vehicle seating assembly comprises a seat support bracket, a lower seat cushion mounted to the seat support bracket, and a latch pivotally mounted to the lower seat cushion. An inertia link is pivotally and operatively coupled with the lower seat cushion and operatively coupled with the latch, the inertia link having a first rotational position corresponding to an unlocked condition of the latch, allowing movement of the lower seat cushion between a raised stowed position and a lowered deployed position, and a second rotational position corresponding to a locked condition of the latch, preventing movement of the lower seat cushion from the raised stowed position to the lowered deployed position. The inertia link moves from the first rotational position to the second rotational position upon a predetermined deceleration of the motor vehicle.

A latch to latch a seatback to a frame of a vehicle comprises: a first seatback attachment portion; a first extended portion connected to the first seatback attachment portion that extends generally rearward from the first seatback attachment portion; a first interface portion connected to the first extended portion at a first bend that extends at an angle downward and forward from the first bend; and a retainer portion connected to the first interface portion at a bend forming a first retaining lip. The latch can further comprise a second seatback attachment portion and a second extended portion connected to the second seatback attachment portion that extends generally rearward from the second seatback attachment portion. The latch can further comprise a second interface portion connected to the second extended portion at a second bend that extends at an angle upward and forward from the second bend.

Latch to attach seatback to rear wall of vehicle

A vehicle seating assembly includes a seat base, a seatback, and a recliner heart. The recliner heart is rotatably coupled to the seat base and the seatback and the recliner heart is operable between locked and unlocked states. The vehicle seating assembly additionally includes an actuator having a housing defining a housing tab, a motor, a gear operably coupled to the motor where the gear defines a gear tab and a spring tab. The actuator includes an actuator return spring defining a first and second hook where the first hook is coupled to the spring tab. The actuator additionally includes a lever coupled to the gear, a pulley coupled to the gear, a lifting cable coupled between the pulley and the seatback, and a release cable coupled between the lever and the recliner heart. The release cable is configured to transition the recliner heart between the locked and unlocked states.

Power lift and recliner release/fold device

A vehicle seat bar assembly having a seat with first and second engagement members. A rear seat bracket extends between the first and second engagement members of a seat. A torsion bar extends between the first and second engagement members and is operably engaged therewith. The torsion bar includes an intermediate bracket engagement portion and a first and second linear portion that extends between the first engagement member and the intermediate bracket engagement portion and the second engagement member and the intermediate bracket engagement portion. The torsion bar also includes a first and second distal end configured to engage the first and second engagement members, respectively, which induces a torsional resistance in the torsion bar when the seatback is at a fully reclined position and when the seatback is at a fully folded position.

Easy operational seat with dual direction torsion bar

A seat back assembly for a vehicle including a seat back, a pivot device having a pivot axis, and an armrest. The seat back is connected to the pivot device for rotational movement relative to the seat cushion between an upright position and a folded position. The armrest is connected to the pivot device for rotational movement relative to the seat back between a deployed position and retracted position. Both the seat back and the armrest pivot about a common pivot axis. The seat back assembly (1) impedes the rotational movement of the armrest beyond the retracted position; (2) holds the armrest in the retracted position when the seat back is in the fold position; and (3) urges the arm rest from the deployed position to the retracted position during rotational movement of the seat back from the upright position to the folded position.

Seat reclining mechanism with integrated seat armrest features

A flexible seating system for a vehicle having a seat with a generally horizontal seat cushion and an upright seat back. The seat is movable from a use position to a stowed position lying flat on the vehicle floor or recessed within a well in the vehicle floor in which the seat back overlies the seat cushion. The seat back has an outboard edge located adjacent a side wall of the vehicle with a slidable bearing device extending from the outboard edge of the seat back to a track mounted to the vehicle side wall to guide motion of the seat back as the seat is moved between the use and stowed positions. One or more supports are provided beneath the seat bottom to hold the seat bottom in a spaced relation above the vehicle floor in the use position. The supports and the seat bottom form a 4-bar linkage which rotates as the seat moves between the use and stowed positions.
