Oscillating lawn sprinkler

An adjustable oscillating wave-type irrigation sprinkler having an impact or impulse drive type mechanism for effecting side-to-side oscillation by a spray tube about a horizontal axis, the drive mechanism including a pair of drive spoons coupled to impact arms journaled for rotation relative to the spray tube and intercepting streams of water from the spray tube to produce incremental rotation of the spray tube about the horizontal axis.

Adjustable oscillating wave-type sprinkler

A contour control device for use with rotary irrigation sprinklers to water irregular areas about the sprinkler. The device includes a housing defining a chamber within which is disposed a throttling means comprising a flexible, resilient band and a plurality of adjustment pins which cooperate with a rotating inlet to the sprinkler to throttling the volume of water flow to the sprinkler in accordance with the rotary position of the sprinkler relative to the housing.
